  1. I could list hundreds of soundtracks, thousands of songs that I love from video games. I tried making a top 100 favorite song list but it was impossible to rank them and narrow it down to 100.
  2. Never played it and it always looked kinda goofy to me but it's survival horror, I'd try it.
  3. I mean, same, plus I still play the old NFL Blitzes, but for those that do want to still watch live football, it'll be there.
  4. Yup that's why there's USFL, XFL and Madden to keep us going. Football all year round!
  5. I struggled between a 9 and a 10. The game is near-perfect and has an amazing aesthetic, and as a huge Dark Souls fan I appreciated the transition to a new environment and story. Ultimately I gave it a 9 because as Dark Souls is a 10 for me, I just prefer the Souls games more. That's just personal preference. I feel like they are (as hard as it may be to believe) more forgiving than Bloodborne and I like that your character is essentially more customizable in Souls. Other than that they are near equals. Just perfectly crafted games in my opinion. Playing Elden Ring now as I type this
  6. Concave buttons always seem to hurt my thumbs less during extended gaming sessions but ultimately it really doesn't make much of a difference.
  7. I played the remake first which is one of my favorite games of all time. But went back and later played the original. I vastly prefer the remake but I wonder if I would've liked the original better had I played that first. Regardless, the remake is a perfect 10 for me. It's the game that got me into the series and it's the purest survival horror game in my opinion, and encapsulates everything I love about the genre. The original, while mostly the same game as it's remake, felt a bit cheesy to me and I found it not as enjoyable as the remake, 2,3, and 4. However it's the first game in a long standing series, a series that is still one of my favorites, even for all it's weak entries. The perfect remake wouldn't exist without the original, and I still think it's the best story and setting in the entire series. Still a very good game but I prefer the remake. Original - 8/10 Remake - 10/10
  8. Pistachio is a top tier ice cream flavor
  9. Sad and disappointed for sure but I have a strong feeling that Cincy will be back. I like Stafford so I'm not overly bitter about the Rams winning and it was a good game for the most part. Just 207 days til the next season...
  10. I really haven't been this excited for a Super Bowl in a long long time. Being from NY I support Jets and Giants and with Jets never having reached the SB in my lifetime and Giants playing in SB really being the only tine I've been somewhat excited for it, seeing the Bengals in the SB for the first time in my life (and many fans' lifetime as well) it has finally given me a reason to be super excited for the game!
  11. Peanuts, cashews and hazelnuts are my favorites. Really the only nut I hate are almonds.
  12. I'll be honest, up until Mortal Kombat 9 I didn't like the series. I thought it was just a straight up bad and cheesy fighting game, certainly nowhere near the fun and complexity of Street Fighter. I will say though at the time of it's release and the controversy surrounding it I thought it was great, as a kid, but later on realized the only thing I liked about it was that it was the first game with blood I ever played and doing the finishing moves was really the only thing I liked about it. Even now, with MK11 being far and away the best in the series in my opinion, the series as a whole still feels too gimmicky to be taken seriously as a fighting game. By no means am I an expert in the genre. I suck at most of them. But I've played enough different ones and something about MK always just felt a bit off. But if I do choose play any in the series it's going to be MK11. The original is just not fun in my opinion. I gave it a generous 4/10.
  13. I've played almost all the games in the franchise (not Fallout 99 garbage cash grab) but FO3 is probably my favorite. That said I'm not the biggest fan of the post apocalyptic setting, just in general. I love what they did with the games when they changed it to play more like an Elder Scrolls game. I never got into the old point and click Fallouts. Anyway FO3 is an excellent game, just not my preferred setting in a game, so it just barely misses a 9 so I gait 8/10. Easy to recommend to anyone interested in the series.
  14. Oh I getcha. I never liked the name either. I just meant for people who weren't aware of its origin it could sound like an offensive name or just not make any sense at all. I wondered this for years growing up not knowing the connection, what the hell is a "Brown"?
  15. I mean without context the Browns sounds like it could be offensive I guess like Cincinnati Reds, but for those that don't know the Browns were named after Paul Brown. I'm surprised they haven't demanded the KC Chiefs change their name yet. I have no issues with the name Washington Commanders but they could've come up with a better logo.
  16. I've always said I wouldn't care to have a full meal as my last meal, I just want the biggest, freshest, coldest watermelon all to myself.
  17. That Bengals-Chiefs game had me on the edge of my seat the whole time! So excited to see the Bengals play in the Super Bowl! They were the first team I ever liked and rooted for ever since I was a kid. Sadly I missed the second half of the Rams-49ers game but I didn't really care who won that one because either way I'm 100% team Bengals!
  18. Am I the only one who is super hyped for Kirby and the Forgotten Land? Looks so promising. Other than that, Elden Ring, Pokemon Legends Arceus...and,wow, I actually can't think of anything else I'm excited for. I guess that's it for now but at least that covers through March.
  19. I don't even know at this point. Donkey Kong? Mario? Kirby? Earthbound? BioShock? Dark Souls? Could be any one of them.
  20. The single funniest game I've ever played. Conker is one of, if not my favorite characters of all time. I love the creativity that went into it and though the controls arent the best, it's one of those games I replay annually because I love it so much. An absolute 10/10.
  21. Mario, Kirby, Zelda, Metroid, Castlevania, Mega Man, BioShock, Dark Souls
  22. I love it, probably one of my favorites on NES and one of my favorite Kirby games. Almost feels like a SNES game. In regards to the difficulty, it's supposed to be easy, that's the point of Kirby and I'm completely fine with that. NES has enough hard games.
  23. I am not an RTS fan typically but out of the ones I've played StarCraft is easily my favorite. Specifically the campaign mode as I always sucked at playing against other people. I also liked Warcraft 3 and Age of Empires. But for StarCraft, a solid 8/10
  24. For a long time I always said I prefer stages and that still is true for certain games like Mario, Kirby and any other game with easy bosses. But Cuphead is the game that made me rethink the stage vs boss thing. I went into Cuphead thinking it was mostly stages and initially was disappointed that it was mostly bosses. But as I played through it I ended up loving that it was mostly bosses and actually disliked the platforming segments. I like a level - boss - level - boss variety but I've learned over the years to appreciate boss fights more especially when they're actually challenging.
