  1. I don't have a ton of "great condition" N64 games...the ones I'd consider 8/10 or better (that are available for trade): Conker's BFD - CIB 9/10 Hydro Thunder - NIB 10/10 Ms Pac Man: Maze Madness - NIB 9/10 Quake - CIB 9/10 Paper Mario - CIB 9/10 Forsaken - CIB 9/10 The guy I bought my first Dreamcast Lot from had a blue controller...so my goal is to get some of the other colors . Feel free to PM me if you have some of the games I'm looking for!
  2. The pinball games are the best, with Perfect Dark an acquired taste...NASCAR and Top Gear are "Rad Racer" style racing games, with NASCAR being exceptionally bad. Star Wars Pod Racer as you know is from a top down perspective, and it isn't the worst game I've ever played, but I remember the console versions fondly, so playing this version makes me sad . Tonka and Test Drive Off Road are isometric "RC Pro AM" type racers, with Tonka being the better one...Test Drive is just too slow/sluggish. All the racing games have that classic engine hum sound effect throughout gameplay, which make them nearly unplayable. Vigilante 8 is a broken mess, with collision detection seemingly random. Missile command is a faithful port, but isn't going to wow anyone. 10 pin bowling is...bowling - Probably close to NASCAR for the worst of the bunch. And the other 4 (I know you can't tell from the pic!) are sealed and I haven't actually played them...TBH, Hole-in-one golf is the only one that looks competent based on the box screenshots. Plus it is made by Natsume and I love old school golf games! (I will definitely open that one someday!)
  3. The GBC Rumble Bundle! These are all 16 North American Rumble Games. Full Disclosure: Only 8 of them are "New to my Collection".
  4. I'm going to put some #'s around this because I know not everyone collects GBA games...I buy lots pretty often to get games that nobody wants CIB for $5 or so...So about 3 months ago, there was a nice little lot of 14 games for $65 shipped on eBay (I made an offer) - The games I wanted were Mr. Driller 2, Camp Lazlo, Barnyard, The Berenstain Bears, Hugo: The Evil Mirror, and Koala Brothers (all CIB - All pretty bad except Mr. Driller 2). I have 900+ CIB GBA games, so it is pretty rare when I find a lot that has 6 games I need. The other games were mostly garbage (Ex: Beat up Dr. Mario cart only for GB, 3 or four other cart only games...nothing special). So the next day the lady reaches out and says, "Hey I found a couple more games in the closet when I was packing these up and I'm just going to send them your way." So I'm thinking, "Nice, a few more carts that I can use in trades..." A couple weeks later, the package comes with my 14 games, plus 6 MORE CIB games, and they were: Tringo - ANOTHER game I didn't have ($10) Bomberman (NES Classics) - ($20) Hello Kitty Party Pals - ($10) Tetris Worlds - ($15) Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends - An uncommon/rare for the system - ($25) Klonoa - Uncommon/Desirable - ($70)
  5. So I tried the WTB Section earlier this year with some Ultra-Rare GBA games and didn't have any luck (but got a lot of positive comments!), So I figured I'd try again with some easier to find stuff! I've never really been into Sega, but I feel like the Dreamcast is a great place to start since I'm big on multiplayer games and it is the only Sega console I own that is in working condition . Looking for CIBs in the 7/10 or better range. On to the list! Bangai-O Cannon Spike Dynamite Cop! Elemental Gimmick Gear (EGG) Fatal Fury: Mark of the Wolves Giga Wing 2 King of Fighters: Dream Match 1999 Last Blade 2: Heart of the Samurai Mars Matrix Marvel vs Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes NBA Hoopz Pen Pen TriIcelon Power Stone 2 Spider Man Street Fighter Alpha 3 Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike Street Fighter III: Double Impact Super Magnetic Neo Sword of the Berserk: Gut's Rage The House of the Dead 2 Time Stalkers Sega OEM Controllers - Smoke, Green, Red, or Yellow (These don't have to be boxed!) I am happy to pay cash (Paypal). If you are interested in trades, I unfortunately don't have much Sega stuff...but I have lots of Nintendo stuff from the same era (N64/GCN) and tons of handheld CIBs - If you are looking for something in particular, please ask! I have for trade: N64 - Probably about 30 different CIB games, mostly uncommons (Tony Hawk 3 (NIB)/RE2/Mischief Makers) with the highest end being a beat up CIB Worms Armageddon GCN - Just ask, my highest end stuff would be NIB Cubivore and Go Go Hypergrind, but I have a lot of regular ol' CIB stuff! GBA - I have everything CIB unless it is ultra-rare - Seriously, if you want to trade for GBA, I definitely have it. GBC/GB - I have probably 40 different CIB games with Metal Gear Solid (GBC), Robopon Sun NIB (GBC), Gargoyle's Quest (GB), and TMNT II: Back from the Sewers (GB) at the highest end DS - Probably 50 or so games, mostly NIB, but some CIB, with the high end being Little Red Riding Hood's Zombie BBQ, Megaman Starforce 3: Red Joker, most of the Dragon Quest games, and all 3 Etrian Odyssey's (all NIB) PSP - Lots of NIB Atlus stuff including Persona 1,2,3. Thanks for looking!
  6. Here is another thing I came across that I had never seen before...Seller might be a wee bit ambitious with the price... https://www.ebay.com/itm/Nintendo-Game-Boy-Gameboy-Advance-GBA-LarryBoy-Super-Hero-Fun-Pack-Ultra-Rare/174563807587
  7. I have $$$, and I want you to take it from me (in exchange for these GBA games)!!
  8. I got some replies this week! Progress!
  9. Aw, no replies after nearly a week...I'll keep trying!
  10. I made this exact same trade! But bought it back in 2017 for $95...On the bright side, we don't have to shell out the $175+ that it is going for now
  11. Although it is pretty hard to predict "spikes", I feel like it is pretty easy to guess which systems are going to gap higher in the next few years...PS1, N64, GBC, GBA, followed closely by Gamecube. The 20-25 year mark since the end of the console is when things really start hitting their stride (although for Nintendo systems it might be more like 15-20 years). EVERYTHING will gap higher for those systems...carts/CIB/Sealed/Graded. The older stuff (NES/SNES/SMS/Genesis (although GEN was late to the party, so it might still have some room to run)) will continue in a holding pattern with any carts that aren't rare or popular declining in value or staying steady. CIB should hold value, and there will always be demand from collectors for NIB or ultra rare stuff. Kids who were 10 years old in 2000 don't want NES games, they want the N64/GCN/PS1 games they remember as a kid, and now they are 30 years old and have money. The retro videogaming economy isn't about what collectors find cool, it is about what the masses find cool!
  12. Hello! I have been playing video games since the late '80s but really only got into collecting back in October 2016. In the first couple years, I would browse the NA forums to gather knowledge and get ideas on what to look for (I saw archive photos of @RpgCollector 's Gameboy box variant set - possibly the most insane thing I've ever seen on the internet...and his CIB GBC set was almost as amazing), but never posted because my collection was so basic and the games I did have were packed away in boxes...But three and a half years later, I have finally decided to join the community after being pushed over the edge by reading @thatgamernerd's work on the Dexter's Lab/Powerpuff Girls GBA Box Variant! - I knew it existed, but had never seen one! I started out probably like most people, picking up naked SNES carts off eBay that I had when I was a kid...It was 2016, so NES and CIB SNES were already crazy expensive, so I moved to N64 - I had sold all my N64 games in 2002, but Gamestop wouldn't pay me extra for the boxes/manuals so I kept them - There were some real gems in there too - Harvest Moon 64, Ogre Batte 64, CBFD, Paper Mario, all the Mario Party's, so it was an easy way to get some CIBs without spending CIB money...plus N64 games were still relatively cheap. Then after I saw those complete Gameboy/Gameboy Color sets, I had to start putting together a handheld collection...and I started with GBA (A Super Nintendo in your hands!) - Back then, most of the games could be had NIB for peanuts and although my original plan was not to go for a "full set", once you've acquired the first 11 Yugioh! games (only 2 left!) and the first 8 Megaman Battle Network games (Only 2 left!), it is really hard to stop... Over the last couple years, I've morphed into mostly a CIB collector...I have carts/discs left over from my humble beginnings, but now I try to pick up worn out/average CIB copies of games I want to play, along with the constant search to complete my N64 (I'm approaching 200 CIB) and GBA sets (900+ now!) I plan on posting a WTB/WTTF this weekend for some GBA "Ultra-rares", and I will list some of the stuff I have for trade (Spoiler Alert: It's predominantly GBA games). I am looking forward to gaining some knowledge, sharing some knowledge, and trading some games with you all!
