I don't think it's a direct correlation because video games have been around for decades, but I'll have to watch more to see the similarity's in collector mentality. Yup, I went through my card collection and went online to see what the value was and was like.... "what!?...." Ended up pitching a lot into the trash and got more to throw away still.
