AnimalHouse | 117
Not sure if this is new. Today, while browsing on ComicConnect. I noticed games graded less than a 6.5 have a red background color instead of blue. I checked Wata's website to see if they mentioned anything but I see nothing. What do you all think, nice small improvement or eh? Edited August 21, 2021 by AnimalHouse spelling
DefaultGen | 5,725
Of all the things they could differentiate with color: IMPs, CIB, individual components of sets, they choose to give the finger to low grade stuff?

I'm sure there's a logical reason. Probably to discourage people from submitting low end stuff to begin with.

I mean that’s the only thing I can think of but doesn’t that hurt their long term business with a solution to a temporary problem? And 6.5 is such a weird cut off. 9.4 is when games start getting really nice. 9.0 is the nice psychological boundary people want to hit. Are we gonna have people showing off submissions in 5 years “Aw yeah, got that 6.5 B, blue label!!”

Beam | 6
All of those games are also mold damaged. Is it possible the red is to signify mold?

jonebone | 1,329
Red is clearly a mold designation color. Nice to see that they really called it out as Mold is about the most severe flaw a game can have IMO.
