If it is repealed then you could say goodbye to sites allowing any user submitted content in order to avoid lawsuits. Not to minimize the issue, but I don't think we are nearing some catastrophic end to the internet. It’s supposed to be a scare tactic to try to get big companies like Twitter and Facebook to compromise. Now how it’s going to be used in years to come is going to be a slippery slope. Well I saw a lot of censoring when it came to the news / last elections, then there's all the companies kowtowing to China , the internet certainly doesn't feel as free as it used to be.
