You should have picked Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. I've actually seen that several times.

Some day.  This is Gilliam's biggest film, but that might be second 😛

Also, you should watch this, skip your wrestling soap opera for a day 😛

Sure wish that Gloves movie debate line was on a schedule!  Then we could talk about Lifeforce and Troll.

...both of which I love 😘

Lest we forget there are also Troll 2, Plan 9 From Outer Space, Robot Monster and Metalstorm: The Destruction of Jared-Syn.

He missed the mark, yet again.

Or maybe this provokes more discussion than the wider appeal works. Instead of everybody agreeing we range from "wth and who cares" to people who know it and love it and think its a 10.

The fact that it's the best movie ever made isn't compelling?

Dude, don’t even bother 😂 Gloves just likes to troll these threads because he’s not a cinema guy. Some people love cinema and some don’t see the point.

I respect Reed for throwing movies like this into the mix. While the majority here seem to be mostly into mainstream stuff hopefully a few see some of these posts and check them out.

8/10. Great movie for film buffs and cinemaphiles, but I wouldn't recommend it to more casual watchers. It's a bit too caught up in its own chaos and probably too self aware for the average viewer. That being said, the opening scenes involving the raid are just as relevant now as they were in 1985. The rest of the movie can be very hit or miss and the plot doesn't always serve the themes, but the ending is still a stone cold classic.
