May the odds be ever in your favor. I got super lucky and found drone tactics at a local GameStop years ago for $2. Haven't seen one within a 100 mile radius since. Rocket slimes used to be abundant at several gamestops but not anymore. You'll very likely find rocket slime before drone tactics. Drone tactics is far more rare than rocket slime. If I find either one, I'll message you.

Message me anyways lol. I still have a want list. Same goes for anyone else out there haha.

No kidding. If you got back in time 5 years ago, you could find probably 2-3x as many good ds games for as cheap as $5 (cart only). Dragon quest heroes rocket slime was a $5 game, and drone tactics was only $2 at one point in time.

Now rocket slime is $20-25 and drone tactics is $35-50.

Honestly I’m glad I have fell into it now. I see how the prices are fluctuating and can see how they will only start to over inflate due to the “kids” who had these that can now buy these on their own. Same thing happens with me with the n64, sega genesis, and play station. Tons of solid titles on both the ds/3ds that people on a budget can get into. It’s also good for people that only unfortunately have the option of GameStop at this time. They even under value the good titles which can be good. I know that they get a bad rap but I’m sure it’s helped a few hear and there when they blow out crap a few times a year.

im still looking for rocket slime and drone tactics by the way haha.

  3. I enjoy the simpleness and colors (yes I know that sounds bad) it keeps you entertained honestly. It’s kinda a “watery” spin of Kirby (which I also enjoy). It also reminds me of cool spot on the snes which again was another favorite of mine. Also, the mini games are fun.

another one I like is Mario hoops 3 on 3. I don’t see many people mentioning it but it’s good for picking up for a quick play during a lunch or just for fun.

  4. I wouldn’t say these are exclusively the top 5 but, these are really good games.

    The legendary starfy

    Phoenix Wright ace attorney
    Harvest moon ds

    Hotel dusk room 215

    Animal crossing wild world

Shin megami tensei devil survivor 2

    dragon ball origins
    999

Mario & luigi bowsers inside story
    Kirby canvas course

    Chrono trigger

    golden sun dark dawn

and for 3ds I know of a ton.

aaaaah who is giving up such great titles!!!??? you are pretty close to getting all the bangers I have for 3DS in like two weeks.

Some are local collectors and some are locals off of craigslist.

Killer deals all around!! With so many aquired at the same time and the quality of titles I would have a hard time choosing where to start.

Your would be correct my friend. Just enjoying the finds. I will play through the first levels of some. Then plan on coming back.

999 is kinda weird but will come back to it

phoenix Wright ace attorney is funny as hell. OBJECTION!

Pokémon heart gold reminds me of the original gold for obvious reasons

Ninja town is a great tower defense game

i could keep going on and on

Where is the current box located now? Trying to gather up some things and set aside as I am also in the middle of some home repair which includes gutting out my closet so figured I would keep those handy if the box is closing on me soon.

RH should be in possession of the box as of now.

You’ve already nabbed a ton of great titles here!

Also fun fact about that MP Hunters demo: it has unique levels not present in the final game, including multiplayer arenas that differ from the arenas in the final game. It’s worth playing on its own. It’s also really cool to see how Nintendo came up with a FPS playable with the stylus. Oh, and at some point Nintendo released a thumb-stylus accessory for games like this.

Thanks for the info! Any idea on the location of one of those thumb stylus accessories?

Hmm... maybe I will try TurboTax. If it’s good enough for @arch_8ngel...

I’ve always used an accountant, because that’s what my father does. So I mostly used his people forever. I finally found a local accountant I expected I could trust, referred from a coworker. I used her for the last 2 years and I guess her work is fine, but her bedside manner is kind of terrible.

If you expected anything other than a wet blanket of a personality form a cpa then that’s where you went wrong. Some CPA’s are different but dealing with that crap year in and year out isn’t always fun.
