Hey folks! I bought this version of SMB3 (left variant) years ago and I’ve always wondered what the correct inserts were that came along it. Anyone have intel to share? The box is in fairly poor shape, but honestly that really doesn’t matter to me. I had always marveled at the “miss twice and your out” grammatical error pictured on the back!. This particular copy was purchased from someone who had a video rental store.

Can’t seem to find the thread in search with the state by state listing of brick and mortar game stores. Does it exist here?

I can’t remember that portion of the ordering process to be honest.

Sent mine in like April of last year...a single sealed NES game....paid for the 20 day service of whatever...I think it took 6 months. Things were slow getting any updates in the account and it took a LONG time to get a response when I complained of slow service and zero communication. Finally got it in the mail and was stoked, but the case was REALLY scuffed up on the inside. They offered for me to send it back and have the case replaced, but I didn’t. Figured it would take at least another 6 months to get it back. Probably would have been longer as it really wouldn’t be a priority. I will though say the cases (albeit mine is scuffed) are pretty impressive and I agreed with the grade. I’ll definitely send more to them when the process becomes better (and that may take a while with supplies possibly being limited due to Covid).

Unlike so many....I really dig this game, slowdowns and all! Think it’s more the music than anything! Awesome acquisition!

The “on video cassette” and “coming soon to laser disk” text really pulls the room together This was an original poster from a video store....took like 3 weeks to get the frame from Walmart! Looking for other total cheese decor....any ideas??

100% sure that’s Casio as it has the G-Shock branding on the bottom of the case. Never seen one before! Older G’s, and unique ones with cross over branding, can sell for good coin. On a mission to find one of these now!!!!

I’ve gotta be on the lookout for one of those Tecmo watches now. Am I seeing that correctly, it’s a Casio G-SHOCK?

It’s seems to be pretty rare. There’s what, 5 or 6 reported on here? That’s approximately the same that was on NA and how long was that site around. I saw one appear on eBay, missed it and it took me the better part of about 2 years to find another!

Think I remembered seeing that one listed. Without the cart confirmation I opted to wait. Glad I did if it had that odor!!! The one I found was in stellar condition!

Another hobby I have is pretty much not necessarily about collecting but it’s fun, and it’s pretty inexpensive to get into these days....ham radio. You also learn some fun theory along the way to getting licensed. I’ve talked with folks on all continents with only 25 watts of power..pretty cool!

I think it took me almost 2 years to snag one. Saw one with a ratty label a long time ago on eBay, and before I could click “buy it now” it was gone. This one surfaced and I snagged it right away.

NesQuest with a Tecmo Basketball N7 variant (finally).

Are you guys disinfecting or quarantining games that are currently arriving at your door? I had a small shipment of NES games arrive yesterday that I’m leaving in the garage for a while. Don’t think I want to spray Lysol or anything on those bad boys!

What is the difference between the Tecmo Basketball BK and N7 variant? Were players removed in the N7 variant?

Time Lord...I wanted so hard to like that game as a kid. Title screen music was awesome as was the music on the second level at the castle. Everything else was just kind of....meh.

Dude...that Contra Force! Wowzers. I know there are some strong opinions about that game, but it’s one of my favs. Cool trilogy, but the last take the darn cake (especially sealed)!!

How does one change your avatar/profile image?

This is my only graded game....sealed copy of Legacy of the Wizard for the NES. One of my favs as a kid.
