Anyone interested in a nice sealed Metal Morph for the SNES? I would say it’s in gradeable shape, though I’m not an expert on graded games. Requiring a wall mount is fine. Any others known to work with a wall mount? For those that had the wires to Gamepad and Wii Motes cut, is there anything other than removing them that people are doing to make it look original?

Has anyone found any other TV’s that are direct drop in replacements? The one listed above in the OP doesn’t seem to be available and not sure if the newer models will work. Also, does anyone know where I can find replacement connectors to go into the black Lynx box that the LED lights plug into? Last, has anyone confirmed what games are on any of the Demo Discs? I own 4 of them but not sure how to find out what’s on them outside of owning the actual kiosk console.

I think it’s the ever evolving collectors trying to stay one step ahead of the price increase. It seems the period where prices bottom out are almost nonexistent on Nintendo systems. PS3 on the other hand is still pretty low. I do think COVID also played a role as those collectors trying to stay ahead of the curve had less option and were essentially forced to look online for a period of time.

Yea, there are definitely games that had updated but from memory they are uncommon when viewing the entire library whereas I feel like the overwhelming majority of PS360 titles had updates on day one. Also as you mention, I don’t recall any updates being nearly as big of a deal as the frequen PS360 updates that made the game nearly unplayable without the updates. I do feel like there was a game breaking bug in one of the Pokémon games and I know there were several updates for Smash, but not sure if that was to add new characters and balance the game, or if it was to fix bugs in the game. Either way, I’m sure the collectors, modders, and gamers will figure out a way to patch updates, if they haven’t already.

Hmmmm.... interesting. I also noticed some games I checked don’t seem to have both Japan and US releases.

Overall, I don’t think there were nearly as many updates released for the 3DS titles. I feel like it was fairly uncommon for games to get updated on 3DS but I’m sure there will end up being something.

I enjoy collecting the big box releases, but I do wish they were more uniform. Would make it so much cleaner to display.

Seems a lot of us are still after Barbie. That’s the scary thing about the 3DS collection. I’m sure hoping more copies find their way to the market. Right now it’s not even a matter of money, it’s a matter of actually finding one more so.

That’s cool. Any pictures? I’m currently at 185 after a couple arrivals today. I have most of the big box releases and heavy hitters outside of Barbie. Wasn’t sure if I was going to go for a full set, but considering there are still titles I want to pick up I will probably continue to slowly move towards a full set and make it a long term goal as I also focus on several other systems.

Buying at yard sales is always a mystery what you find lol. On eBay or online, it’s much more likely to be factory reset in my experience.

I have the Animal Crossing Welcome Amiibo in my regular releases since it’s a unique cart, but as you mentioned it also should be listed under the Nintendo Selects list. Nice collection! For disc based games, were all first prints from Japan w/ the 00000 code, or was the USA prints w/ 00100 also released alongside the Japan releases? Is there anyway to know or do we assume that all Made In USA’s were second prints?

There is definitely a fine line on grabbing the games when they drop in price to get them at their lowest price point, but not waiting too long until they are out of stock when prices will go up.

Oh absolutely understand. Clearance deals are always YMMV and to be clear, the games they had were on clearance, it’s just those games are already dirt cheap online so it really comes down to what selection they had and this particular store only had a couple titles which happened to be ones that have been clearanced at other retailers and online liquidators.

Does anyone know if Wal Mart have 3DS games on clearance yet? I’m still playing chicken on a couple of the late releases that are still in stock at various retailers hoping I can get them cheaper than they are currently. Going to have to bite the bullet soon though. Most of the late releases didn’t get very big print runs from what I can tell so it’s a bit risky, but if I do miss out there is still a chance they will pop up at a Pawn Shop or yard sale for under market value.

Sadly I was near Meijers and stopped by and the only thing they had were overpriced copies of Sushi Strikers and Yokai Watch 2 Bony Flesh Hope everyone else gets lucky!
