  1. Been slowly riding that train to the end of Dreamcast line. I get off and take a detour everyone and then. The current detour is Genesis CIB.
  2. One thing I appreciate is the freshness of......everything. There's none of that "this discussion has already been talked about, refer to ancient thread XYZ that has been dead for ages." Any topic at this point is up for grabs. That's pretty awesome!
  3. My gaming space in my youth was right smack dab in the middle of the house in the living room. I was always envious of those finished basement areas my friends' gaming spaces were in. Haha
  4. Working through Wind Waker on the WiiU. I'm enjoying this game. I only played through one other time at its GameCube release, so everything is a pleasant surprise again so many years later. They seem to have cleaned up the monotony of the triumph forks a bit from the Slog I remember it being too!
  5. All fantastic games.....though I can't speak for the homebrew. Some I'd recommend are: Castle of illusion, world of illusion, comic zone, ghouls and ghosts, dynamite headdy, e-swat, both Ecco the dolphins, and any sonic of the three (my fave is two, it's the one I played when I was a kid before my brother sold the Genny and we remained a Nintendo family until my collector years) Splatter house games are fun too if you want to pay a premium. I admit that I am still learning the library. Im sitting at just under 50 myself, but if you ever want to talk Dreamcast, I can have a deeper conversation there.
  6. This is what I came here to post. I have yet to try out either of them, but they look to have such great libraries of games too! I Just can't justify diving into these.
  7. My collection is small but growing...... Don't mind the possible alternative connotation in there. SEGA!!
  8. Thanks all. I've already been visiting here more than I had been visiting the old site over the past few months. Glad to see a race to complete genesis games over in the gaming area too!
  9. I'm going to parrot the Dreamcast, even though, as mentioned above, the console itself wasn't a failure, just the handling of it in the markets was kind of a failure. It had so much going for it, but the console was just hemoraging money from Sega in manufacturing costs vs sales costs, not to mention the competition it was up against at the time, also battling poor Japanese sales. So many great games though... Albiet with some real stinkers mixed in, but which consoles don't. Liner notes- I've never had the opportunity yet to play around with a Saturn, therefore I default to DC
  10. Same user name from the old site, I was much more active from 2013-2016, then turned into a lurker with the occasional post. Great work to everyone that got this up and running. I have only read so much, but am I to understand this was built upon the sale of NA, in the case of its potential devouring of the corporations that hunger for blood? ( It definately has a similar feel of that of the sadly late NA) If I am wrong, I still say, great work! The layout is very nice. Feels good.
