For my taste the case had all the marking of a reshell. The serial sticker was lifted in such a way as replace, the battery cover was different yellowing then back cover. the front was different color then back. the cart slot, the ware was not really present. as this was an ebay auction i was not able to hold in hand so unable to tell what the texture was.

Not necessarily trash just don't pay an arm or leg and check the back. i would want to hold in hand before i buy. which is not always possible. i had a few in hand and had to walk. the feel was not quite right.

However if it holds true and the unit is a true comboy(with graphics) then it could go very high. However if the unit is a japan comboy then it could still go high but not as high. Unconfirmed and very dangerous. the refits/re-shells/refurbished(IE TRASH) Since the Japan Comboys are in the wild and disreputable people are in for the money it almost impossible to to verify what you have with out a box or a serial database. here is in my opinion a refit/re-shell/refurbished

hold on never ever remove the barcode sticker that is a usa version DMG/MGB/MGL/CGB if its removed it will kill the value by 75precent. the smaller silver is for out of usa like japan..

The poster is a Nintendo poster but i have not been able to confirm what that one is. also the reg card is not confirmed.

As to-date i have only ever seen a OG Gameboy game manual with XXX as country code. that code is. DMG-AV-XXX T2 The Arcade Game.

@BigBucky, @RH When talking about ITA games there are a few things to look at. What do you want to collect? Box CIB Carts Manuals Cart & Manuals Each section has there own challenge. VERY IMPORTANT TO UNDERSTAND NO TRUE NINTENDO BOX HAS A COUNTRY CODE ON THE BOX only on the Tabs For CIB then your in for the wildest ride in the Gameboy collecting section, not even AUS or German codes are this difficult. ITA CIB will have GIG but not all are a TRUE ITA cib. Some can have a NEAI, GPS, NOE, EUR, UKV and UKV-1 Manual/Cart or combo. All GIG sticker CIB will have a GIG Manual and this will only make a true GIG ITA CIB. All GIG printed CIB are True ITA and will have the True ITA manual. * All Mattel printed CIB are True ITA and will have the ITA manual. (note 1) Going after the Cart only is will easy it just like any other Gameboy code. They can be a ITA, ITA-1 or ITA-2. Going after the Manuals only you will be scratching your head and throwing darts, most will have up to 3 versions and to find them will take a keen eye. For the cart & manuals refer to CIB.
