  1. 5/10- I played it on launch but could only bring myself to finish the first half (70 stars or whatever it was). It was a big disappointment after Mario 64, but maybe I’ll revisit it one day with a different perspective.
  2. I just ordered mine. Also, it came with a GWP. A Super Mushroom Surprise Expansion Set. Hopefully you guys get it too.
  3. That was just standard edition. They state they have to use fedex because of Covid-19 which sounds like bs to me considering I’ve received stuff from LRG and other places using normal airmail. Weird that there are eBay listings already when you can just buy it directly. Edit: just read their twitter and it appears they’re in the works of offering other shipping options for international because their contracts ended up being more expensive than FedEx. They said they’re planning to do a European retail release as well. I’ll just buy it then. Also, no print run limitations. If they need to do a second run, they said they will.
  4. $56US for international shipping! No thanks. Is this been released anywhere else? Otherwise I’ll just wait for eBay I guess.
  5. Wow amazing job! I love how you've made everything fit perfectly and flow so well. I'm sure it took forever to get that look but it works well. I love how you have all the artwork arranged, I'm going to have to borrow that idea.
  6. I actually just picked up that game the other day. I enjoy dungeon crawlers so I am taking a chance. A few of my favourites: Gal Gun double peace Uncharted Persona 4 golden La Mulana EX a rose in the twilight The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel 1 & 2 Dragons crown Natural Doctrine Riddled Corpses EX Demon Gaze Ice cream surfer Child of Light Some of those are ps4/vita and some aren’t exclusive anymore, but they’re still worth checking out.
  7. Yeah it’s crazy how easily people have figured out how to get past the 1 per person limit. I’m more focused on switch too but I do have a small vita collection I like to work on every now and then. I knew this would sell out because vita collecting is crazy with the system basically being dead now. I was hoping to get it because I’ve heard only great things about it. Hopefully it gets a release on the Switch.
  8. I forgot that papers please for Vita was also being released. That’s already on eBay for crazy money. One seller has 8 copies even though it’s supposed to be 1 per customer.
  9. 10/10. This series has become one of my favourite games. I think once you learn how the game works it’s actually not as difficult as people say it is. The problem is that AAA games have become lazy with their controls and can be very forgiving. This game trains you to not be greedy or rush in like an idiot. Dark Souls also is not cheap like old NES games. All areas can be overcome with patience and learning. I recommend anyone that gave up on it to give it another shot but just take things slowly.
  10. I didn't want to start another LEGO thread so I thought I'd post this here. Got an email today about this new release: https://www.lego.com/en-au/product/grand-piano-21323 Looks cool but with the NES coming out I don't think I'll be picking this up any time soon. Might wait for a discount if this is also released to retail.
  11. Yep very good points. I guess what might push up the prices of those limited games though is if the demand passes how many copies were made for a LRG run and they don’t get a reprint. Like you said, it’s more likely going to be a game that was pulled from the shelves that is rare. But even then, now that we have access to information more easily most people are onto these things pretty quickly.
  12. It’s hard to believe that anything on the Switch will be truely rare, especially because it is multi region. I think the LRG/SRG type games with limited print runs will probably be the closest thing. Unless they pull a SRG and re print their own limited game haha.
  13. Great work. Also thanks for maintaining such an accurate spreadsheet, I always use this as my reference.
  14. I have a list of 65 pc engine shmups if you want the list? I can message or post here, whatever is easier.
  15. Looks like it isn't just at Gamestop. Ozgameshop have it for pre order https://www.ozgameshop.com/nintendo-switch-games/hidden-objects-collection-nintendo-switch-game?gclid=eaiaiqobchmizykmkn7d6givmxwrch2vwg5neaqyayabeglqevd_bwe I think with the Switch being region free it's going to be harder for these types of games to become valuable like previous systems. I think the LRG & SRG will probably end up being more valuable simply due to the fact that a lot have capped print runs so in theory only x amount of people will ever be able to own a physical version of the game.
  16. I got a newsletter today from iam8bit saying they’re doing a physical release of Untitled Goose Game, pre orders now open. Also available from skyboubd games. I’d never heard of the game, but apparently it’s from an Australian developer. So I should probably show my support and grab a copy
  17. Thanks for the info. With the DLC this seems like a more affordable purchase for me. I heard the base game was very short so I passed on it on launch because it was expensive on the eshop here.
  18. Time to go into stasis and awake once these arrive. Best switch news I’ve heard in a while! Now we just need a P5 Scramble announcement.
  19. I finished Shikhondo Soul Eater. Solid bullet hell game with amazing visuals and soundtrack. The trash mob patterns were a little bland but the bosses more than made up for it.
  20. Yeah the focus is more around digital vs physical and whether game stores will become the next Blockbuster. That’s what I found interesting about it.
  21. I have this set and can confirm it can easily convert to the ship. The instructions continue on with the conversion steps. This set is amazing and one of my favourite builds. It’s really big though, so you will need some shelf space if you’re going to display it. The box is also huge but really takes you back to those pirate days. The ppp is also good value because there aren’t heaps of little pieces bloating the count.
  22. Anyone else seen this documentary? I just finished watching it the other day and really enjoyed it. Video game documentaries can be hit or miss but I think this one had some really interesting discussions around physical vs digital and will the current kids really care about collecting physical games going forward. We don't have anything in Australia like the retro game shops shown in this documentary, so it was interesting to see they're still pretty popular.
  23. Yeah I loved this build too. It never got boring and I was amazed at the techniques used to get such a nice shape. I found the Voltron set a little boring because it got repetitive. As a family I think it will be great because you can each do a part then bring it together. Looks amazing when finished though. Harry Potter castle is a fun build too and I could imagine even better with a family. Just $$$ but I always see it on discount here so probably the same for you guys.
  24. Also check out Brick Link. Normally better pricing than eBay and has a great database.
