This was the last model that Walmart had in-stock. They dropped the price to 99.99 and it eventually sold out. That asking price isn’t bad but it’s a tad high. You might be able to find it a bit cheaper. if you don’t need one brand new, you can get a 2DS XL for like $120, maybe even less than that. Happy hunting!

Yeah I think you are right. btw I got my order in today, he’s only one state away from me so it arrived overnight. These are just the threads... haul of the year for me and it’s still February. my only gripe is that the track jacket is very pilly around the torso but I am going to try to repair it. It fits me perfectly so I actually want to wear it!

Hmmm... I’m wondering if this guy is bs’ing me. He claims these were promo only and rare. They are probably rare but they were also retail items in Japan. Added the Bravely Default II poster from yesterday. Also noticed a decent number of rewards were still in stock yesterday. Great to see. Also remember there's a promotion going on right now where if you stomp on at least 1 goomba in Super Mario 35 then you will get 350 platinum points, but you have to do it by March 2nd I think.

I hope I'm not double posting anything, this has been a very busy week so I've had a hard time keeping track ha ha One of my LRG orders from a looooong time ago finally arrived: Made some random deals including picking up a first print BotW for Wii U: I asked on here if Oceanhorn was worth getting and someone told me to download the demo but then I found a decent deal on a used copy so here we are (still haven't played it though): Went to GameStop to return something (oh, you order something online and you don't get the pre-order bonus but they don't tell you that...) and I saw this sitting behind the counter, I'm pretty sure it was there for months... it was on sale... I love the show and I do like the statue, even if the game isn't amazing: Picked this JP Sword of Mana bundle for the books, might not keep the game: Got the first My Hero along with the Mario 3D All Stars skins in a trade, now I have all 3 of the Mario anniversary pre-order bonuses: Picked up some more strategy guides in a bundle deal, glad to have finally picked up the Fire Emblem guide which I was hunting for quite a while, and it's in great shape too: Not the best picture but I added another Game Boy to the collection: Also picked up a sealed Pandora's Tower on a whim: Won this in a contest, would have preferred the Switch version but oh well: Got my Mario 35th pin set 2 in finally, along with the 3D World lanyard and an extra set of posters: And lastly, remember these? Yeah he literally lowered the prices on some items when I said I was interested, he wants it all gone! also lol: so does anyone know what the market is for one of these? How much do they actually go for?

I’ve seen the DealTavern guy on FB in some collecting groups and even he says that when he sells out of something the price goes up. It’s all perceived scarcity!

I'll admit this now, I bought that Zelda Phantom Hourglass promo art cel thinking it was something special, then checked eBay and realized it's a very common cheap promo thing (which I still want, but not for the price he had it for), so I requested to cancel and told him I would buy something else. And I did end up buying something else, and then something else after that...

And I love the $0.01 sticker on the PS Zero guide, shows just how undesirable it was back then!

lol yes I really really want those but that price is crazy. This guy doesn't know what his stuff is worth, some of the promo stuff is not employee exclusive and way expensive, other stuff is priced better than any collector would sell it for.

A different kind of hunt: I won a collector’s edition of Fox n Forests for PS4 from SLG!

Also in Canada you can get their games from VideoGamesPlus. LINK Both of these are legit excellent distributors but I also know from people who have ordered directly from them in Europe that they had zero problems.

I get my PixelHeart games from VideoGamesNewYork, that's the official US distributor. LINK PixelHeart has been around for a good while, they used to just do homebrew stuff for Dreamcast, Neo Geo, etc. Some of their releases for Switch are ports of their Dreamcast stuff. They also did a couple releases on Wii U in Europe (Shmup collection and Finding Teddy II).

I'm just saying, if y'all had a charm for getting a complete Nintendo Power set, all 285 issues, that would be cool.

Still hunting for strategy guides! Here’s two hauls: 1. Paid $45 for these 3 guides all from one eBay seller, in excellent shape! 2. Found this OoT guide + NP poster for $30 via Facebook, the guide is a huge upgrade compared to the one I already have.

I already have Sword of Mana CIB, which I have yet to play (someday... I swear I will), but I saw this listing on eBay for the original Japanese release, also CIB, with two Japan-exclusive manga books for $20 and free shipping. That seemed like a no brainer price to pull in something you don't see everyday so I pulled the trigger. More pics in the spoiler!
