Rayman Collecting Guide (North America)
BirdDogGaming replied to BirdDogGaming's topic in Collecting Guides
Scored the Rayman 2 beach ball that came with the PS1 variant. I was really surprised to see it pop up on my eBay saved search. Decided to grab it since it was cheap. Maybe one day I'll find the PS1 big box without the beach ball and reunite them. There's literally a double-sided Rayman model + Ubisoft logo in the middle, which is pretty neat. Can't believe it actually included the original instructions, so I'm including that here: -
The Samurai NES "Indian Version"
BirdDogGaming replied to bowser's topic in General Collecting Discussion
Happy I came across this thread, it was a great read. Super interesting. Thanks for sharing! -
Phone ring is already out of stock. I would've liked to have grabbed it, but even if I had seen it in time, I've only got 30 platinum points left. Lol. Glad you were able to get one @MiamiSlice.

Rayman Collecting Guide (North America)
BirdDogGaming replied to BirdDogGaming's topic in Collecting Guides
I'd like to clear up that yes, you were right about one of my jewel cases being included with that big box shown above^. And you mentioned you were unsure about whether there were variants of the Big Box. Here's one. Adding it to the list now. Here's another one I found: "Anglais Evac Rayman Volume 2", or "English with Rayman Volume 2"... ...which led to me discovering this image. Crazy amount of big box PC Rayman learning games overseas. This Rayman 3-pack might have been an Australian release: Not going on the list, but I think it's worth sharing. eBay listing says it's a Spain release: Again, too neat not to share. "My First Rayman." This will be under Foreign Exclusives: There's so much PC stuff, especially when looking worldwide. One day I'll sit down and really organize my database of Rayman games into a lovely table with pictures and everything. It'll be great. -
What's new in your collection/Pick-up Thread !!!

Pretty tough to find DS game for whatever reason. Offered a Mercari seller $5 plus shipping for it and she accepted. I'm not big into DS collecting or anything but an acquaintance of mine (who already has 3 copies of the game) told me I should reach out to the seller. It was in a lot of like 15 games and a console. -
Just recently posted on here about finding the Powerpuff Girls: Mojo Jojo A-Go-Go / Dexter's Laboratory: Deesaster Strikes combo pack. Here's a new video on the channel discussing how I got it. Thanks for watching.

Trying to Find Out if this GBA Game Exists
BirdDogGaming replied to BirdDogGaming's topic in Collector's Questions
There are now three known copies of this game in existence and I'm beyond excited to say that I am the owner of one of them. The story of how this came to be is pretty amazing. This isn't a reddit story where I tell you I scooped it up at Goodwill for $2.99, don't worry. The other day I was doing some research on Game Boy Advance variants and looking around at different online stores. I've been looking for The Powerpuff Girls: Mojo Jojo A-Go-Go complete in box ever since I made this thread. For whatever reason, that game is pretty tough to find. So I was checking places that I don't usually check. One of those places was Amazon. I've never really been one to look at Amazon for retro games until the last few weeks, but I can promise you that is about to change. When scrolling down the listings for Mojo Jojo A-Go-Go, there was a lot of "cart only", "CART ONLY!!!!!!", Cart Only". But when I got to the very last seller, who had a copy listed for $199.99, the description read "Condition: Collectible - Like New - Brand New - Factory Sealed 2-Pack (w/Dexter's Laboratory: Deesaster Strikes) - Free Upgrade to First Class Shipping with Tracking!" And the rest is history. I couldn't believe it. No pictures of the game were shown, but it was clear. What's interesting is this combo pack has its own place on Amazon for sellers to list it under, so the fact that I managed to come across it by complete accident is insane. The seal does have a couple of tears and the box wouldn't get that glorious A+-√π^2 from Wata, but you can't be too picky with this one. Here's to hoping I didn't just spend $200 on a game DealTavern finds and sells for $18.39 someday. -

I'm seeking the following Rayman 2 bundles: Tattoo Bundle (Nintendo 64) Sticker Bundle (Nintendo 64) T-shirt Bundle (Dreamcast) Free Watch Bundle (PlayStation) Beach Ball Bundle (Playstation) These can be new or used condition. I am looking to pay cash for them as I don't have much to offer in terms of trades.

Ordered this lot of CIB titles specifically to add E.T. to the collection as it is a very uncommon box. Paid $15 plus shipping. -
Ordered these from France to add to the Rayman collection. This my first time looking at your list, though. Great work @DefaultGen.

New Pocky and Rocky for Switch!
BirdDogGaming replied to DeuceGamer's topic in General Collecting Discussion
Very cool, I’d love to have some Pocky & Rocky on a modern console. I could see it getting a Bubble Bobble 4 Friends style of physical release at best. -
Thoughts on "Frankensteining" CIB Games?
BirdDogGaming replied to dvertov's topic in Collector's Questions
I can’t see why someone would be opposed to this. One of my favorite things to do is complete my loose games, and that goes for any console. -
PAL gameboy vs gameboy
BirdDogGaming replied to Dawsthehorse's topic in General Collecting Discussion
I believe PAL European titles have a circular seal of quality while North American titles have the oval ones. -
Just sent 10 discs to the man and he got 9 of them working. I would 100% recommend this service, don't even think twice. The only disc that didn't work was one on Dreamcast but he said up front that Dreamcast titles have a low success rate. That being said, he managed to get my Quake III on Dreamcast working, so I'd say it's worth the $1 risk. Aside from Dreamcast, I sent him Xbox, Xbox 360, Gamecube, and PS2 games. The Xbox 360 game I sent had that awful ring around it (from someone moving the console when it's powered on) and it isn't even there anymore. HIGHLY recommend this ridiculously inexpensive service. I'm most happy that my copy of Time Splitters: Future Perfect on Gamecube ended up working because that one would not have been cheap to replace.

Very happy to add this completely CIB Daredevil to the collection. It sat on eBay for $100 for a little while until the seller offered a 60% discount to watchers. Couldn't believe it. -
