  1. Wow. Thanks for solving that @GoMordecai! Looks like the boxes around each are pretty generic. There are no images or text on the top/bottom/sides of those boxes?
  2. A recent post from @willthetarget contained this image, a demo I was not previously aware of. Adding it now.
  3. Bam! Entertainment may have done it again. A few months ago, I started a thread and ended up uncovering a Dexter and Powerpuff Girls GBA combo pack that no one knew existed. You can see that thread here. Now we're working with Game Boy Color. I just found an old Amazon listing for "Powerpuff Girls:Battle Him/Dexter's Laboratory 2 Pak". Upon Googling, the only website I could find with an image of the game is called Game Gas. Game gas seems to be connected to this "independentcommerce" website that had this page, which doesn't give much except for a possible price the game bundle was listed at: $14.90. Now, when you go to this part of Game Gas, you can actually find a review from someone saying "My son loves Dexters and daugter loves PowerPuff Girls. This price can't be beat I wish more companies would sell them like this." Now, I don't know if this person was just prematurely reviewing the game or not. It seems like maybe they were just excited about the price of the 2 games together. But this review also could've been after they purchased it. No clue. That's about all the information I have regarding that bundle. There are no sold listings on eBay from the searches I made. And then I found another GBC bundle, this time for "Powerpuff Girls:Bad Mojo Jojo/Paint the Townsville Green 2 Pak" from that same "independentcommerce" website. You can see that site here. You can't see an image, but it does say "Buy new $29.98". Eventually, I was led back to Game Gas, which is apparently the only site in the world that knows anything about these two bundles. You can see that page here. This bundle does not have a listing on Amazon from what I can tell. This is a little different than the GBA combo pack because that one was a totally different box with two cartridges inside. But I still find this interesting. I imagine this one could have been cancelled and never released, but we thought the same thing for the GBA pack. Has anyone ever seen either of these bundles?
  4. The thumbnail says it all. Did a bunch of research and came up with 10 series that made the switch from 3D to 2D. I will just include the list as “spoilers” at the end in case you’re just interested in getting info quickly. Enjoy!
  5. Anyone seen this before? Found them at a game store in Colorado today. I should’ve gotten more pictures but when I was comparing the front and back of each side-by-side, I didn’t find any differences. I don’t think this is a case of sun fading, personally. eBay doesn’t help much considering sellers don’t usually post pictures of the spines. The one spine I was able to see on eBay has the word “Job” in yellow.
  6. That helps a lot. I’m going to accept that these are the four variants until someone proves otherwise. Do you have any pictures of the last two variants?
  7. Rayman 2 on Dreamcast has a very rare T-shirt bundle "variant" while the Playstation received a wristwatch bundle variant. I was wondering if anyone knew of a Rayman 2 N64 bundle similar to these two releases. If my memory is correct, there was a Yo-yo bundle for the Nintendo 64 release that actually popped up on eBay sometime in the last few years. However, I don't have any hard evidence to support this. Thanks!
  8. I've been on YouTube for under a year now just figuring out the direction I want to head with my channel. I was using NintendoAge as a research tool before it went down, but for my latest video (attached) I did a ton of research here on Video Game Sage with a handful of awesome people. Really love the community here. I've got 7 videos out now and 3 podcasts. My latest video covers a game so rare that most people assumed it didn't exist. Enjoy! Thank you for the support.
  9. Ditched the "list" view and created a nice excel sheet organized by platform. Three sheets, actually: standard releases, variants, and demos. Most of the work that needs to be done here is in the PC area. Originally, I wanted to include some foreign exclusives on this list, but I think there's still a ton of research to be done in that area for me personally. I don't know enough to make a list of them just yet. That being said, please feel free to contribute any interesting foreign finds. I also want to start getting UPC codes and such, but for now, this is what I have. I have no doubt these lists are incomplete so please feel free to drop a comment if you know something I don't. 1. 10. I’m messaging the eBay seller back and fourth. He says the box has two built-in cartridge slots, further clarifying that this was packaged with two carts. Looks like you’ll be getting the cardboard insert, too, even though it’s not shown in the pictures @Nesmaster
  11. Wow! It definitely didn’t have anything to do with my video then, because he purchased that lot before I uploaded it. Nice score dude! @Nesmaster
  12. Wow. Yeah, I’ll shoot them a message. I see this one sold today, any idea how long it was up for?
  13. Well that settles that! Only thing left to wonder now is which versions of those two cartridges it came with.
  14. Today I posted a video pretty much summing the entirety of my research on this combo pack. About 12 hours later, I get a message on my channel’s Facebook page with the following images. They are from a sealed copy of the game. If you notice, it’s not even the box art that appears on Amazon and Lukie Games, but rather the “variant” I had included earlier in this thread (see DeeDee’s foot). This has been a really enjoyable journey and I appreciate everyone’s assistance getting to this point! Does having only one UPC number mean the games are on one cartridge?
  15. My last question has 0 replies, too. We’re asking the hard questions.
  16. I had no idea this auction was going on. I would not have spent the $433 to win, that's for sure. I can't believe it actually exists, this is huge. We have to get some images.
  17. The Powerpuff Girls: Mojo Jojo A-Go-Go has a USA release and a revised USA-1 release. I am looking for images of the box for each of these printings. I am trying to find out if there's any difference in the box of the first print vs that of that USA-1 release. The pictures I've included here are of a sealed copy currently listed on eBay. It's the only listing with the box on eBay, and because it's sealed I can't really tell which printing of the cartridge is inside. Anyone who has the box for this game, please post images. To give you an example of the kind of small difference(s) I'm looking for, the box for Dexter's Laboratory: Deesaster Strikes (another game from the same publisher) has a slight difference in the Nintendo Seal; the USA version says "Official Nintendo Seal of Quality" while the USA-1 version just says "Official Nintendo Seal." I don't think this is the case for the Powerpuff Girls game because both the USA cart and the USA-1 cart for this one have the same seal. Thanks in advance. I'm working on a YouTube video and any information is greatly appreciated.
  18. I've never been, but I can imagine Portland Retro Gaming Expo has gotta be up there. MAGFest is another big one that comes to mind.
  19. Decided to shoot LukieGames an e-mail and see if they had any record of the game being sold, since it is in fact on their site listed as “Sold Out.” This is what they responded.
  20. ^This is definitely the guy to go to with GameCube questions. That’s quite the uncommon Player’s Choice! Very interesting. Same with the K Mart one.
  21. I don't believe the game ever had a bonus disc. Pretty sure it only ever had one release here in the US and I can't find anything about a bonus disc online.
