  1. i was doing a little research on if switch carts were mask rom based or nand based. unfortunately there nand based which means bit rot will kill off these game in the future. the good news is that wont be for another 20 years cause it uses something called XtraRom which is better at retaining information than regular flash. and by then hackers im sure will have figured out how to reprogram a switch game cart by then. but being flashed based i think would cause issues if the game was removed improperly. heres the topic https://atariage.com/forums/topic/270216-nintendo-switch-cartridge-eprom-or-maskrom/ correctly me if im wrong about the nand but i think this was a stupid move by nintendo. collectors are screwed if hackers cant reprogram the cart
  2. dont worry about it. my grandma said to me once that she never felt old till she hit 84 she always felt 20. 40 is just a number of what humans call years. as long as you eat elthy work out you souldn't worry about it i just turned 30 so i kinda know how you feel but i just learn to acsept it cause we aint getting any younger lol. she now 93 and losing her mind but still happy
  3. macaroni with spam and canned green beans long day... didn't feel like spending too much time cooking.
  4. btw if any one has mega man battle network 6 cybeast orange cib near mint or mint let me know!
  5. so since 2001 ive been on and off collecting the mega man franchise it all started in 1995 when my mom bought a mans collection from the repair shop where i got my nes fixed at. 50 nes games 2 dollars each mega man 2 and mega man 3 was in the stash. i very much enjoyed those games! in 2001 i discovered mega man 1 at a gamestop. at first i thought i had them all. (yeah right) then i found out nes had three more games XD i got mega man 4 in early 2002. and mega man 5 and 6 for christmas that same years mm5 was boxed and thats when i started going for cib. over the years ive replaced all my nes mm games for better CIB at least 3 times as my standards got more tight on condition. the game boy mega man 1 was replaced 4 times with in a few months to piece together all inserts and better boxes. mega man x2, x3 and 7 were bought when they were still cheap to get in 2005 (50 each) the gameboy mega mans and game gear i paid the most for. mm5 gb and gg mm were 1400 and 1600 dollars to buy mint all inserts. i even got the mega man 9 press kit when it came out anyways ive almost completed my collection im only missing one (cybeast orange version) from the GBA and am still looking for it cib near mint to mint. the side games im missing is the psp combo release wily wars pal release. and mm8 on saturn. the stupid amount of ds and gba game was just ridiculous to get! trying to be like the pokemon franchise.
  6. nice! i have just the GBC version of the game. i got it before the price went stupid high. i have a collection just like this for mega man
  7. looking for a complete near mint or mint copy of this game. any one got it? send me a PM, im interested!
  8. antiques like cameras and vasline glass and more. media like movies and cartoon shows.
  9. question. will there be test cart, test station, and m82 owner baubles?
  10. argon gas sealed container would do the trick but in on all seriousness laser rot is very rare. i have 500 movies and 400 games discs in all. ive only had one disc fail on me due to a manufacturing error that causes dvd layers to separate. now sega saturn is known for poor manufacturing ive seen those disc fail more often than others. as long as there stored in a cool environment away for sun light in a vertical position and handled properly they will last for many years.
  11. One more we got an N64, a triforce, a mushroom, a coin, and ummm... mario's condom, i dont know... but thats all of them for North America plus one test cart and a few JP only imports.
  12. Man these epic collection pictures make mine look like crap but it is complete loose cart for VB. i have the blockbuster case but i forgot to picture it. i'll be posting a complete n64 one too. just gotta drag them all out again.
  13. i have an m82 too but it needs some work done to it cause the last 3 slots don't works right with games. all i can say is just keep looking there very hard to find now. i got mine in 2008 when they still showed up on ebay for a decent price. you will find one
  14. coconut water. yeah sorry i dont drink
  15. this is and always will be my holy grail item. the picture is from wikipedia but im the one that posted the picture to the wiki.
  16. i remember seeing that some where. i think ebay?
  17. you can always tell a fake from a real. cause real always smell of an old closet or musty. im not a fan of reproduction boxes the only time i think there necessary is if the box alone cost over 1k to get.
  18. 3 million?.. thats not bad. Let me check my over the rainbow account and see how much gold coins i have so i can to pay for it.
  19. you can problably get a custom anti static case made to protect it.
  20. ive never look it up if they are or not but that's what ive been using for years and have had no issue with it. its kids glue and i think its edible so its likely non acid based. word of advice though when you glue it. let it dry a little till its sticky before placing the label back on or sticking it back down and glue both the cart and the label
  21. a glue stick will work fine as long as its not acid based.
  22. personally i glue them down i cant stand it falling off lol the guy i was talking to said he has had people come in and look at the label under angled light and not accepting it if it has a small dent lol. and im anal about condition but not that anal lol
  23. just wondering the game you get with labels that are falling off do you glue them back down or leave them as is? i had a conversation with a guy at wii play games in vegas that said they dont glue the labels down cause people often got mad at them for doing it.
