Hyper tapping which involves mashing the directional buttons at some crazy speed in order to get pieces over faster is now passe. Rolling is now the preferred method and doesn't involve any mashing so thankfully much easier on the hands than tapping.
I wonder who here can beat Ikari Warriors without the code. I know of 2 people and 1 probably can't participate anymore. That's probably toughest challenge on this list.
Last year I left my console on all night at 8-4 and I had a power glitch or something and had to start over! Fortunately it wasn't too horrible getting back there. I love Adventure Island.
I've seen everything from Lolita onward. 2001 is his masterpiece and single greatest acccomplishment but A Clockwork Orange is more entertaining so picked that as my favorite.

Before teen Joseph Saelee popularized hyper tapping the best players were generally older, like 30+. Jonas Neubauer and Koryan for example.
Isometric games can be fun once you get used to the perspective. I love Marble Madness, Snake Rattle n Roll and Isolated Warrior on the NES. Never played Zen but it looks similar to Isolated Warrior so I might enjoy it.
