  1. Looks like The Best of How To Win At Nintendo, How To Win At Nintendo Games #2 and How To Win At Nintendo Sports Games are fully available while the others require that you borrow or purchase to view.
  2. Nice. Thanks. There might be some good strats, but they would've been more useful back before the internet and there were fewer options. Now I'm skimming through them primarily for nostalgia reasons.
  3. For 6-2, I think it's best to quickly get through those jumps rather than taking your time with them. Figure out how to do them all in one go. It will take some trial and error but you should get the hang of it. Fortunately the last boss isn't that difficult at all. Sometimes he does a really big jump and you have to connect with a jump kick as soon as he lands. If you're a hair too late you'll get hit. Also try to get him with your three specials. Be careful because he can stun lock you for a lot of damage.
  4. Since You've Been Gone is a cover and it's decent enough. Sounds good on the radio. 6/10 Rainbow in the Dark is over the top fun and has the benefit of Dio's pipes. 8/10
  5. Score update. Still trailing a bit behind Gaia but at least I broke 300k. Nailed the bonus levels.
  6. Emulators are legal so the NES classic should be fine.
  7. Oh yeah, DK Jr and Popeye are great early platformers. I'd put both over the original Donkey Kong.
  8. This isn't the first time this game has appeared in the contests so I've played it a bunch before. You can hold the B button to flap continuously.
  9. 5/10 I like some of the music, but the movie itself sucks.
  10. I think my second favorite is Kung Fu, but it is great. Best Joust on the NES.
  11. Thanks for noticing lol. Right after getting the table I was thinking I need a new mousepad.
  12. I reached phase 16 but I fucked up a couple bonus rounds so my score is lower than Gaia's.
  13. I love how off the wall Red's picks are. I'm so damned curious what this is and why it looks so much like a pinball game despite not being one.
  14. Rad Racer does look great and has a nice sensation of speed for an 8-bit racer. He also loved the graphics in Life Force. I'm surprised that didn't also get an A+.
  15. Oh. Then I definitely have no idea what it is.
  16. Are you sure this isn't a pinball game?
  17. BTTF Parts 2&3 would be held in higher regard if it had a save or password feature. It desperately needed one.
  18. Some great nostalgia for those who grew up with this book. https://archive.org/details/howtowinatnintenrovi00rovi/mode/2up EDIT: Oh noes, it's just a limited preview. I didn't know that before posting. I guess it figures. But you can borrow for free.
  19. I don't see Kid Kool listed among the special completion requirements. Seems like any ending is fine. https://pastebin.com/JJ6Zy2Di
  20. But you will make an effort when we play Tetris.
  21. Captain Marvel seems like the most normal and beatable of the remaining games. I once spent two weeks trying to beat Kung Fu Heroes (no continue code) and gave up at 8-4. At least there are warps but it's still hard.
  22. Do you mean take your picture at the start of phase 20?
