  1. Crime against Asians rose by over 340% from 2020 to 2021 in NYC! Subway crime is up over 200%. Maybe you can't blame "bail reform" for all crimes, but numerous ones like what you linked are absolutely due to completely worthless lawmakers that should all be fired. https://nypost.com/2021/12/28/nycs-worst-2021-cases-stem-from-shaky-bail-reform-law/
  2. Myself, I almost never read fantasy, but George RR Martin is finally... oh, yeah, never mind.
  3. I bet FROM is still updating and tweaking things. In a few months they'll probably make it so that bosses have 45% more health and do 50% more damage because of "challenge"...
  4. Wow... okay that was weird, because I just posted this
  5. Updated! Also, looking to purchase one of the most atrocious games of all time Superman 64 If you have a loose or CIB copy let me know
  6. Okay... I know many of us want to know - just how much was this??
  7. I really hope he lives to continue to serve the people of Ukraine and be a symbol of democracy - quite honestly, I do not remember the last person who was a true symbol of democracy. Perhaps Ronald Reagan? Mind you, there are many things that RR did I do not approve of, but nevertheless he WAS a symbol of democracy during the Cold War, and Zelensky is now a symbol during Cold War II. Should he be killed murdered by the Russians, he will be a martyr and only inspire others. I believe he knows that, and I'm sure the piece of shite responsible for this, who shall not be named, knows this too.
  8. We are aiding the Ukrainians as best we can... keep in mind we (USA) did NOT "officially" get involved in WWII until after Pearl Harbor, but of course we were helping the allies with aid far before that. Pentagon: 'Vast majority' of $350M in lethal aid to Ukraine has been delivered https://thehill.com/policy/defense/596935-pentagon-vast-majority-of-350m-in-lethal-aid-to-ukraine-has-been-delivered The U.S. has contributed more than $1 billion to help Ukraine’s military over the past year and has pledged more as Russia’s violent attack on the country drags on.
  9. Yeah, at a certain point you learn to just stop lying to yourself and give in to the "well, it's only X so might as well" urge
  10. Putin is shit, no worth than shit! The Russians are deliberately targeting civilians... Ukrainian Family's Dash for Safety Ends in Death https://www.nytimes.com/2022/03/06/world/europe/ukrainian-family-killed-war.html
  11. This system is fabulous! Games look great, sound is spot-on, and SO many great games to play... and did I mention games and console are dirt cheap!
  12. 'Capable of anything': How the '99 apartment bombings explain Putin's rise and regime https://www.yahoo.com/news/putin-1999-apartment-bombings-ukraine-175001959.html There is “no serious doubt that Putin came to power as the result of an act of terror against his own people,” says David Satter, who has investigated the apartment bombings perhaps more thoroughly than any other Western journalist. “Someone capable of such a crime is capable of anything,” Satter told Yahoo News in a telephone conversation from Paris. “And the proper attitude towards him is deterrence, not partnership.” Russian investigators and journalists who tried to investigate the bombings often ended up dead. Among them was Anna Politkovskaya, a fearless critic of Putin who worked for Novaya Gazeta, one of the last remaining left-leaning outlets in Moscow today. She aggressively covered the Second Chechen War; in 2006, Politkovskaya was assassinated in her apartment building’s elevator. “Every American president has gotten Putin wrong,” says Satter, who in 2014 earned the distinction of being the first Western journalist since the end of the Cold War to have been expelled from Russia. “Some have gotten him outrageously wrong."
  13. BCA Research, a Canadian business, told clients to “stay bullish” on stocks and “largely ignore existential risk” as their investments will become “irrelevant” if the Ukraine crisis leads to nuclear armageddon. Mr Berezin said: “If Putin concludes that he has no future, the risk is that he will decide that no one else should have a future either.” Boy, it would be nice to think Putin is just "sable rattling" but let's be realistic here - he's deranged and if he figures he will take down the West with him, more than likely that is that...
  14. Found the game for you! Check out the time to complete DQ IX -
  15. I was under the impression that Elden Ring was supposed to be this HUGE game, and I figured it meant that it would be larger and longer than other Souls games. Is the open world similar to say Breath of Wild? Skyrim? Something else? Is it exciting or dull? At any rate, I am surprised it's such a relatively short game, although I'm sure DLC are in the works.
  16. Suspect in New York subway feces attack, also charged in separate hate crime, released again https://www.yahoo.com/news/suspect-york-subway-feces-attack-211823398.html The Bronx district attorney confirmed to NBC New York that Abrokwa was again released on his own recognizance after he was booked on the new charges Wednesday. None of the charges qualify for Abrokwa to be held on bail under New York state’s bail reform laws, NBC New York reported. City officials slammed Abrokwa's repeated releases. “This individual should not be out on the streets of New York and his release shows the scope of changes that we need to make in order to keep New Yorkers safe," Mayor Eric Adams said Thursday in a statement. I'm sure so many in NYC are happy that AOC and others pushed for this bail reform... https://gothamist.com/news/amidst-chaos-rikers-aoc-and-maloney-call-das-ease-bail Rep. Carolyn Maloney and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, are calling on local district attorneys to seek lower bails and empty city jails.
  17. In such instances nothing is ever "just a precaution".
  18. Russians shooting at independent journalists - so what else is new?
  19. Well, it's not too late to change that "no" vote... https://bgr.com/tech/nuke-proof-doomsday-plane-spotted-flying-over-nebraska/
  20. I thought they did... but even if they have not, I know some of their games such as Cotton tend to be widely available at retailers. So I guess the better question is whether the compilation will be widely distributed?
  21. Hello! I wonder if LRG will also be releasing this?
  22. Nice haul! Might I ask general conditions and prices? Discworld is awesome
  23. Kosovo parliament urges government to start NATO membership bid https://www.yahoo.com/news/kosovo-parliament-urges-government-start-123549721.html Putin has done more to push Eastern European countries westward than anything since the fall of the Soviet Union! Good job Putin, now hopefully you'll die and rot in hell soon!!
