Wow that’s nuts. I’m sure it’ll eventually get a normal physical release or at least a digital release. I can’t imagine they wouldn’t do a normal physical release after how successful shovel knight was.

Has anyone else heard of this new game being created by Yacht Club Games? It looks like their kickstarter just got funded and the game is now in production mode. Looks like a zelda-esque style game which heavily borrows some artistic styles from shovel knight. It looks pretty interesting to me. Today marks the release of the latest addition to the Mario Strikers soccer franchise. The last one was Mario Strikers Charged on the Wii, which was released 15 years ago and will be tough to live up to (it may be my favorite Wii game). I have been playing pocket card jockey nonstop for like a month now. It’s such an addicting game. Sad that it’s an eshop exclusive though.

Give me a month or two and I’ll finally have more free time lol

I have played this game for years and did not realize until today that you could max out your horse’s level. Mine maxed out at level 11 aka MAX

The battle network series was far superior to the star force series imo. In battle network you had a 3x3 grid for lots of variety and strategy. In star force it was a 1x3 grid and vastly reduced strategy and what could be done. there were 6 battle network games on gba, 1 of them (#5) on the DS, and 3 star force games on DS. I would think if they could put one of the battle network games on the DS that it shouldn’t be hard to modernize the battle network and Star force series into collections.

Yea I saw that too which is a bummer. I just emailed Nintendo asking to get me in contact with gamefreak so I can pitch to them why they should make a pocket card jockey sequel. We’ll see if they respond.

I will gladly door dash you some kfc btw Yea this is a true gem that will be a shame to lose when the eshop goes away. There’s no reason gamefreak couldn’t put this on the switch’s eshop. I’m holding out for a sequel one day.

Glad you guys are checking it out. I’ve been playing it for the past few days and I’m addicted again. For all you Pokémon fans, gamefreak put many nods to Pokémon in Pocket Card Jockey including one horse’s name being Pikapika Mouse and another being Bullet Seed (which is a move in Pokémon) And yes I named my 2nd horse Fried Chicken get it? Today is May 7th, which means the Kentucky Derby is today. The Kentucky Derby is the first leg of the triple crown for horse racing with the other two being the Preakness Stakes and Belmont Stakes. Pocket Card Jockey on the 3DS is a very fun horse racing solitaire-esque leveling up game from Gamefreak, the creators of Pokémon. It’s one of the best 3DS games there is imo. I hereby decree every year that the start of the triple crown marks Pocket Card Jockey day. Pocket card jockey is an eshop exclusive on the 3DS and the eshop will be going away next year in March 2023. Let’s all get in the spirit of the season for this awesome game and enjoy it before we can’t anymore. It’s only $7 and there’s a free demo. I’ll add dokapon journey, commando steel, power bike, my world my way, zombie bbq, solatorobo with the big box, fighting fantasy, drone tactics, etrain odyssey III, mega man star force 3, blue dragon awakened shadow, black sigil, tingles rosy rupeeland, super robot taisen og saga, infinite space, and magicians quest while I’m at it.

Look it what I finallyyyyy checked off the list. This one was a pain to find for not a stupid expensive price. Shepherds crossing 2 is complete! Good luck getting this one @JVOSS! It’s definitely one of the rarer DS games

Absolutely nothing wrong with this game. Still one of my favorite Zeldas ever

Atelier Annie is a nice pick up! And tetris ds was such a fun game when you could play against people online
