  1. Lol yea it would suck having to track those down now. Of course you’re only missing the most expensive EO womp womp
  2. Big RIP for you. Hopefully you aren’t missing the DS etrian odysseys too.
  3. What are your 10/10 games? The games perfect to you, the games you keep going back to, really whatever 10/10 means to you game wise. Here are some of my 10/10 games Advance Wars Dual Strike (DS) Boktai (GBA) Dragon Quest Monsters Joker (DS) Dragon Quest Monsters Joker 2 (DS) Fire Emblem Echoes (3DS) Mario Strikers Charged (Wii) Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door (GameCube) Pikmin 2 (GameCube) Pokémon Firered/Leafgreen (GBA) Shovel Knight (3DS) Super Mario Bros 3 (NES) Zelda a link to the past (SNES)
  4. You ever play kid Icarus uprising? That one has some tough controls too like some of the games you mentioned.
  5. Lol that was me. I love me some drone tactics. Best $2 I ever spent was on a used copy of drone tactics at a GameStop before it exploded and before I went on vacation.
  6. I think I speak for several people here when I say you’re in a safe space here to voice your opinion. I’m genuinely curious to hear about what games you enjoy. If it weren’t for members talking about lots of games they love, I wouldn’t know about many of the DS and 3DS games in particular that I really like (Cave Story, Drone Tactics, Witch and Hero, Pocket Card Jockey, Digimon World DS, Retro Game Challenge, Tingles Rosy Rupeeland).
  7. I 2nd this. The 3DS has a nice trove of solid physical games and a nice digital selection on the eshop
  8. I posted this in the 3DS thread but for any azure striker gunvolt fans, today is the last day to buy the limited run of the physical Switch copy for Azure striker gunvolt 3. https://limitedrungames.com/collections/all-games/products/azure-striker-gunvolt-3-collectors-edition-switch
  9. Appreciate the tip off on this. I just ordered a regular one and collectors edition. Looks like today is actually the last day to order
  10. Hey if me you and reed combine our 3DS shantaes, we can buy 1 for the switch lol
  11. I did the same thing if it makes you feel any better but hey at least we have the 3DS version
  12. So Shantae may not be fetching a high price, but look up Shantae pirates curse. Over $400 CIB!! Looks like it’s one of the most expensive switch games. The 3DS version is getting rather pricy too at over $150. I still vividly remember seeing the 3DS one on shelves in gamestops for weeks and no one bought it even though each store only got one copy.
  13. Chuck a GameCube off a roof onto it. That should do the trick.
  14. Gotcha. I still view her as a side character just like Waluigi. I think Nintendo has tried to push Rosalina as the other main princess besides Peach over the years. It’s just weird though. 10 characters is really slim. To give you an idea of how low that is, that’s just 2 more than were in Super Mario Kart. Strikers had 12 and Charged had 20. We were very spoiled with Charged in retrospect. Here’s to hoping they add several characters via DLC eventually. I’m not very confident they’ll do this though.
  15. I’m surprised this is the breaking point for a lot of people. They left out a LOT of characters, not just Daisy.
  16. I got to play strikers battle league for about an hour yesterday. I’ll definitely be picking it up but it does seem like a downgrade from Charged. There are only 10 characters in the game. yes 10. And only one sidekick made it back - Toad. No dry bones, no boo, no hammer bros, nothing. None of the characters have special moves unless they do their hyper smash thing. If you hold down shoot until it maxes out, there is no special shot like in charged. No 6 goal specials. Back to a max of 2 goals with a special. The characters are pretty slow. Putting on gear is a must to be competitive. The hitting is different. No more smacking people into walls automatically. Often when you hit a player, not only will they not go into the wall, they won’t even lose the ball. The controls seem a little wonky but that could just take some getting used to. The pass and shoot buttons seem like they should be swapped for example. So yea, VERY different from Charged. It really seems like they went back to the mechanics of the first strikers game which is a downgrade imo. Still fun but you’d think after 15 years of waiting, this would be a big upgrade from Charged or at least equal to it but sadly it’s not. Still good, but it’s no Charged.
  17. They made a 3rd one??? How did I not know this?!? Gracias
  18. This is why I gave it a 9. I regularly go back and replay 2 but I don’t replay 1 too often.
  19. Sounds like it was mainly a promotion/celebration type deal. “Released as part of the 25th Anniversary of The Legend of Zelda series, the remaster was made available as a free download between September 28, 2011 and February 20, 2012 internationally via the DSi Shop and Nintendo eShop.[7] It was later made available again as a free download between January 30 and February 2, 2014 in North America, exclusively via the Nintendo eShop, after the release of A Link Between Worlds to celebrate its critical acclaim,[4]including the Game of the Year award from GameSpot.[8] Currently, the game is not available for download.”Released as part of the 25th Anniversary of The Legend of Zelda series, the remaster was made available as a free download between September 28, 2011 and February 20, 2012 internationally via the DSi Shop and Nintendo eShop.[7] It was later made available again as a free download between January 30 and February 2, 2014 in North America, exclusively via the Nintendo eShop, after the release of A Link Between Worlds to celebrate its critical acclaim,[4]including the Game of the Year award from GameSpot.[8] Currently, the game is not available for download.
  20. Culdcept Revolt looks good too but I’ve never played it.
  21. Same. You may be right about more quality 3DS titles overall. I think it’s pretty close to DS but 3DS is solid too.
  22. @Reed Rothchild you ever play azure striker gunvolt?
  23. Nice. Tingles rosy rupeeland was surprisingly good. Different but solid throughout. Plus you get to play as tingle so there’s that lol. Digimon I always recommend if you like Pokémon. That and dragon quest monsters joker are some of the few mon games that got it right. DQMJ was doing stuff 15 years ago that Pokémon is only now implementing.
  24. They did put the first 2 on the Wii as well if you have a Wii or Wii U. The pikmin 3 demo is really good in terms of demos.
  25. I agree with this. Started out fun but then just became a chore and a dating sim game. Echoes and fates were much better.
