  1. Hey, I put. FO/FT because I don't know much about LEGO and I don't know how to value these. You're more than welcome to make an offer though, or I'm willing to trade for video game stuff.
  2. I'm looking for a black label edition, sealed for Xbox 360. I have no idea what to value this at, and most of what I'm seeing on eBay seem to be players choice editions. Also not sure if the 'bonus map' edition would be considered first release. I really don't know anything about xbox collecting. I just play the games .
  3. Yes. And honestly, that will probably determine whether i send it back or just eat it.
  4. Good to know it's something they're aware of and working on. I'm definitely gonna send mine back in this case. The smudge make it hard to look at . Did you have to wait a long time to get this back afterwards?
  5. All I know is something like this (despite the grade) would really affect my want to purchase if I was a buyer. Does anyone know if WATA will do anything for something like this?
  6. It's that mark in the upper left corner and it's visible no matter what lighting. There are more on the upper right, but it's not as easy to see with the glare in the pics.
  7. OK maybe this is totally ridiculous, but has anyone else ever gotten a graded game with some smudges on the inner plastic, or even where the game is a little crooked inside the plastic encasement? If I'm grading for display, then this is kind of frustrating, especially on a black box where it's noticeable. (Maybe I deserve this for grading CIBs )
  8. I think I see your name from time to time in the variant forum, which means you're like me. Rarer=better. But I understand both perspectives
  9. So getting a notification that a FedEx label was created means nothing, because apparently they drop these off in bulk to FedEx (I'm guessing). I was supposed to get mine today, but the tracking was wrong because I'm assuming FedEx doesn't do pick up there
  10. I think the date code gathering was to shed more light on the konami/ultra no-back-label oddities, just so we could narrow down why this might be happening.
  11. So like, maybe someone tore the back one off, then got started on the front and gave up? I guess that'd make sense
  12. Could be, but as a seller (assuming they've done their research, if they were trying to fake something) why peel the back label? There are a number of these floating around and I think most have the back label, so it'd be surprising if they took the extra step to do something that doesn't legitimize it more.
  13. I can't even wrap my head around this...
  14. I just got mine showing complete yesterday and I submitted on 7/1 and I believe I selected turbo. No tracking either
  15. If this is the original box for this it would go with theory 2 https://www.ebay.ca/itm/114282393119
  16. I thought that about the Sega one too. Maybe they didn't wanna pay for a new one, but it looked used as fuck
  17. This was well put and I actually appreciate you approaching this from a conversational standpoint. In order to not derail the thread anymore: The Sega episode was my favorite. Seeing their marketing campaign against Nintendo from the other side had me remembering how I felt towards Sega when I was 8. I really did feel like it was the "older kid console". My friend had a Sega and was allowed to watch Beavis and Butthead... I was stuck renting SNES consoles from Blockbuster and watching Power Rangers .
  18. Literally just giving my perspective on the show. For God's sake, if I want to watch mindless shit for once and get a break from the kind of stuff that's flooding Facebook and Instagram I feel like that shouldn't be too hard to do... And you act like people are running around tarnishing all the good shit out there in the world by "commenting on something being political". Yeah, God forbid that get pointed out. Ever.
  19. Does growing up entail not being able to have an opinion? Because if so, I think I'm good... Also, you're telling people who mostly collect video games for nostalgia's sake to grow up, so there might be a bit of irony buried in that one... Also, yes, as a whole the show is pretty entertaining.
  20. I didn't find the interview with the trans girl political because it was historically relevant to video games. It's when they go on tangents about the hardships of minorities/gays/etc. and are interviewing them specifically for that reason that I take issue with it. I'd like the interviews to be with people that can best tell the history of gaming, whether those people are straight/gay/trans, whatever, as long as it's those who've had the greatest impact. So far, this doc would have you thinking that the majority of people that helped launch the video game revolution were gay and that sounds like a stretch to me
  21. They had good interviews with women. The overly political stuff is hard to miss. It really wouldn't be a big deal, but a lot of it seems forced... And unrelated to the larger history of gaming
