  1. Most of it comes in episode 3. I haven't watched past that yet.
  2. Some of it seems a little political... Which I'm not even sure how they worked into a video game doc... That parts kind of annoying
  3. This doc is just interesting enough to hold my attention. I actually really liked the NWC stuff
  4. None of them having back labels is odd. Then again, why just a bunch of copies of Konami/ultra games? I don't ever see missing back labels on any others... Maybe they're out there though
  5. Yeah, you really have to shell out some extra money for the higher speeds if you want it back within a month
  6. Either way, it's good, right? If the market sustains or rises, then all my stuff will jump in price. If not, it will be cheap again at some point to get the sealed games I want
  7. Go to watagames.com, create an account, then go to submit a game. It will ask you some questions about the game being submitted, and you'll have to pick the type of casing you want your game displayed in. There will be a form you print out at the end with all of that info. Then you'll put that print out in the shipping box with your game and send her off to the address on the site. Then wait roughly a decade (depending on which grading speed you picked) and you'll have a graded game waiting at your doorstep.
  8. Is there peak retro game documentary? Point me in that direction. Last one I watched was the Nibbler one
  9. Saw this was coming out on Netflix in a week or so and didn't know if anyone knew anything about it? The title background has me intrigued
  10. That's what's sucks. I passed up on one on NA a while back for similar price from a trusted seller and now I'm regretting it.
  11. One of the difficult parts about it was I saw it on mercari months ago and when I asked seller (same guy) for more pics I heard nothing back even after initial communication. Also, seems to really be defending the fact that it's not fake. Idk. If it's real it's super nice condition. Did think SOQ looked fine though too
  12. This is back up on eBay and mercari. Can anyone affirm it? https://www.ebay.com/itm/143674550381
  13. I would definitely. I go for sealed games that have sentimental value to me, and certain franchises can hold that same value. So, yeah. I have 0 DS games, but I'll probably end up getting a sealed Chrono Trigger for it. Don't collect PlayStation, but I'd be all about sealed FF games... Just some examples. Only downside is I'm not nearly as good at legitimizing seals for other consoles
  14. Awesome to work with! Product just as described. Thanks again
  15. Actually I don't know. I'll look when I get home on Sunday. I do remember not having seen it before.
  16. Weirdly, nothing in particular. Just the experience. Felt like old times and i think that's harder to come by nowadays
  17. Maybe I just need to ask more at other places I go to. He dragged it out from the back like it had been sitting there for a decade. If other places are keeping inserts and manuals like this I have totally been missing out
  18. It's so infrequent that I go to a resale shop and I enjoy my experience (lack of selection and pricing are some major bummers) that I felt like I had to post this. Went to a game store in Kentucky and asked if they had any manuals and the guy came out with a whole plastic bin full of them. I dug through it for about 30 minutes and there were some good ones in there (which he sifted through at the register and set aside ). But I still ended up with all these. Nothing crazy here, but I just had an awesome time feeling like the good random finds were still out there in the wild. I'll go back there and give them business now, all because the guy was a class act. Also, I'm obsessed with manuals and inserts...
  19. Looks like there were a couple sold back in May on eBay ( one mismatched with a 5 screw). None available now unfortunately
