  1. Hi ExplodedHamster. I'm sure you're a well enough guy but you don't need to try and convince anyone of the sale's legitimacy. It actually looks more suspicious when you do that. lol Anywho, congrats on the new mini-yacht.
  2. i wish i was half as persistent/dedicated to any one thing as you are with smb/dh. rooting for you!
  3. I don't know where you got the impression I wasn't aware of the possibilities, but I am indeed aware of the possibilities. Mainly just trying to explain why the price is so high. Even if it's a bad explanation.
  4. There are ten copies from vga in 90+ from their own DB. Two from wata that are 9.8 A++. That's twelve copies. And that's only the ones at the top tier. It's not speculation to say there are many more sealed copies out there, of which five just entered the market today.
  5. *gently strokes CIB SM64* it's okay baby, i'll never leave you
  6. Weird. Firefox tells me vga is unencrypted so idk. Either way CAS is fine. Just bad security I guess. Their website design would have exposed their poor technical skills had the Trojan warning not been there anyway
  7. auctioneer said there were 2 known copies at this grade.
  8. to be fair, the SM64 was a 1/2, as the auctioneer pointed out. so someone is sleeping on that other one. haha
  9. did it? the data had no useful info except number of games graded and the variants. we still don't know the count per-grade, which is really what everyone wanted.
  10. im sure vga gives you a similar error since it's unencrypted lol
  11. feelin real bad for that poor soul who is about to pay 1.56m for a SM64. hopefully it isn't that guy who does the collectible shares thing.
  12. you've got quite the selection! especially mega man, zelda, and the chain of memories. excellent choices!
  13. It’s nearly quadroupled in one day? What the actual fuck!
  14. We in the wacky world of miniature golf now y’alls
  15. I mean, money is meant to be spent, yet people collect, grade, and invest it all the same. For something as widely loved and shared as video games it was just a matter of time.
  16. well i mean considering HA allows both the consigner and company executives to bid, it's impossible to know how much of the bidding is organic vs shill fat-pocket bidding.
  17. While no one can predict the future, one thing is for certain: for the foreseeable future collecting games in good condition, in box with paperwork, will be very difficult. Even worse if you’re after sealed copies.
  18. LOZ only sold for 900k? amateur hour over here
  19. PSA does this for most cards if they find evidence of tampering or doesn't reach the min grade. Super annoying. I don't know that other graders do that.
  20. I’ve shipped hundreds of games this way. No issues. It would need to be a special kind of event to damage a game that way in a plastic case. Lol
  21. that’s interesting because Wata’s legal statement makes the disclaimer that pop reports are an inaccurate and unrepresentative picture of scarce and populous games alike. meanwhile we all know that if it doesn’t matter, why not just publish it? I’m speculating here but it probably has something to do with keeping prices high and rarity just opaque enough so auction premiums rise, assuring HA makes a sufficient cut first. I mean, why else have an exclusive partnership? lol
  22. Sadly this is true. I’ve only ever seen cgc 10 pristinely command value. Anything below 10 is pretty cheap. Which for casual collectors is great! Not so much for people trying to make investments though.
