  1. Not as far as I know. I believe the association started with Midwest way back in the day since it was in very close proximity to many of the Minnesota/Chicago/Indiana members. RetroGameCon in Syracuse is a great one to attend if you're looking for stuff near you. TMG might be as well depending on what you're looking for.
  2. Up until this year, his brother and his wife/girlfriend were VERY obnoxious on social media. That didn't help. This year, it seems that Mahomes is now getting the calls and preferential treatment that Brady used to get. I still like the guy, but I can see how some others may not. Also, I don't think that was enough grabbing to warrant a flag there at the end. You could also call holding on the offensive line on any play you wanted to, they just don't do it. I get the whole "don't put yourself in that situation", but the refs shouldn't be fucking you either.
  3. Looks like they moved vendor stuff back to the third floor at least! It was really weird having it on the first floor (and a major pain in the ass to unload)
  4. Gonna laugh if a bunch of the Yes flip over to No after you make the change
  5. Wouldn't the gloss on those have more or less fused the cards together anyway? I sold a random pack of Fossil that I had at a video game show for $85 last fall. Found it in a random box that had other Pokemon stuff in it that I have no clue where it came from (might have been a mystery box from NA or something). A guy that seemed to know Pokemon bought it (and he haggled me down from the $100 I had on it), so I assumed it was real.
  6. Does it still have the 3D mode if you hit select? Or the cheat option to start on whichever track you want (even beating the game without playing it)? I thought they ended up taking the 3D option out of later releases.
  7. For me, that's Miller Lite or Diet Pepsi. No idea why.
  8. Might want to make those Coors Cutters as I'm pretty sure he gave up alcohol quite some time ago.
  9. He offered full refunds to people that were unhappy with the situation. Not sure what you're expecting the guy to do beyond that.
  10. You should have seen the chain of PMs I got from AlexElectric on his way out.
  11. How about the happy medium of granting staff the ability to switch/erase a vote if somebody tells us they voted incorrectly? That way we have a solution while limiting potential shenanigans.
  12. Who knows. The AtariAge thread isn't too hard to find if you want to give yourself a headache. The boxed run was supposed to be limited to 100, but he sent off the order with incorrect die dimensions and was worried the boxes would be jacked up, so he ordered 100 more with the correct pattern. When the first ones ended up coming in and folded fine, rather than dump them in the trash, he offered them for sale. Best part was that Albert offered refunds to anybody that was offended by the /100 run becoming a /200 run. Even specifically Deemar/Code Monkey (who swore up and down he paid twice what the retail cost was), who retorted that he'd rather run over the thing with his car. And they got a C&D from Nintendo over it, so while you can find the ROM for it no way he'll sell you a cart of it these days. It wasn't so much that you voiced your displeasure, it was the repetition and increased asininity of each reply that got you the boot from that thread. And it looks like Albert gave you the muzzle from that particular thread, not a site ban.
  13. If you registered back then, I was already a mod on NA and can verify you wouldn't have been banned solely for arguing about something. If you kept trying to get back in, I think I actually remember your old username. Did it start with a D? Also, if you had more than one account that would have gotten you banned (and I believe AtariAge has the same policy).
  14. Are you sure that's why you got banned? What was your name on there?
  15. When Corey posted that, it looked like Bosa was out too. I think McCaffrey can do enough if their D can keep it close, but they might adjust for that too
  16. Yep. Was a good run for you guys at least, plus you should be set for several years coming.
  17. Mello Yello is Coke's answer to Mountain Dew. Looks like they marketed Surge to compete with the "EXTREME!!!!!!!" Mountain Dew stuff in the mid-late 90s.
  18. Nope, citrus one like Jolt was called Kick. Lasted maybe a year or two.
  19. If you're patient you can usually find those for under $100 during the summer months on ebay. After not touching my 2600 stuff for over a decade I finally decided to start selling most of it off. I'll still keep my full 7800 set (for now)
