  1. Anyone else on VGS an engineer? Just wanted to share my accomplishment of passing the PE exam.
  2. Yes, this shall be done but I'm still petitioning for WIFOM - Wine in Front of Me I love saying Wif-fum....I don't want to hear how it's only going to be used in WW club so we don't NEED it in global dictionary since I just WANT it in global dictionary. I mean it COULD show up in other threads.
  3. Oof...a lot of the two letter ones will be an issue....ME, ML, VT, PR, & ect. three letter and more should be OK though. I'm guessing these dictionaries can't be different on different parts of the forum.
  4. 5. Huh....I totally didn't get that as a kid. I always thought the 12 days of Christmas was leading UP to Christmas day not not starting on Christmas day and the following days. Song makes more sense now....also NO! We can not have Christmas extending into January....it already starts in October.
  6. I did check the box twice in the second vote. Not sure if you were OK with doing more than one box but I like the idea of voting for any option that you will play.
  7. @Mega Tank is going to give me my Christmas wish with this next game.
  8. Chili is a bad name for what it is. It's really a meat sauce that is heavy on the meat. Meat sauce on spaghetti is nothing new. Shredded cheddar cheese on a spaghetti with meat sauce sounds not so good. Shredded cheddar on a chili sounds good thought.....I guess no matter what it's doom when you describe it to people. Just ask them if they want a 3-way and watch them be disappointed when they find out its a food dish. We are the birth place of Hustler magazine after all. Cincinnati got a little kink in it. And not the fancy Playboy stuff
  9. Found this photo of "Doug" and this checks out....
  10. At least you didn't spend all the time and effort gift wrapping packages that you then have to crumple and shove to fit in the box because you just assumed it would all fit. Granted I know a few of the gifts will look good.....the one is going to be a hot mess for sure.
  11. So takin' I-75 North it sounds like. I'm totally going to call that the "west side" and we all know the east side is the best side . I-75 is just horrible in generally. Also that's a really crappy part of down town you drive by. The Banks has REALLY turned out well. I can't believe how much the riverfront has changed. But honestly what I'm talking about you don't even need to be downtown to appreciate the food/beverage culture that is Cincinnati. Hit up a UDF and get a milkshake the next time you need to get some gas on your little road trip. Totally worth the extra cost to get a "Homemade ice cream" milkshake. I love how big the Giant size milkshake is. And while your wait for that milkshake to be made you can pick up some Grippo's BBQ chips or Busken's smiley face cookie to go with that shake.
  12. Man, that is some bad odds. I've had better rates of positive experiences but it's so hard when so many think the idea alone is disgusting so they already are against it before even tasting it. But my significant other has had much greater success though she started them off with Skyline Dip. I figured the best Skyline being right off of UC campus would have a much higher acceptance rate of it being a wonderful dish. No it isn't the best meal ever but it's a very enjoyable meal for sure. @Bearcat-Doug Pompilio's pasta, is that a restaurant or a dry pasta good you can buy? I'm trying to come up with ideas that are easy to ship.
  13. So this Christmas season I've been sending out gifts that give a "taste" of Cincinnati to friends who are not familiar with my lovely city. I was curious as to what some of you other Cincinnatians thought would be good to share in future gifts. We all know about Cincinnati Chili but I wanted to go deeper than Skyline and Greater's. Also I'm interested if hearing your stories of Cincinnati when you first came here (if you are not a native). And how your experience has been with sharing aspects of Cincinnati with friends/family. @Bearcat-Doug I know you are a local but unsure of others so maybe you could help get some people to chime in.
  14. I just redeemed tokens but don't see a invite to the game in the messages/dashboard.
  15. Spoon already knows about it so he'll respond back soon. I'll let Mash know as he may not be aware.
  16. You know I'm down for #2. I'll do another game if you need more people.
  17. Damn Spoon.....that kills my Nathan Drake idea for sure. Hats off on that one.
  18. Not to toot my own horn but thought I came up with a couple of good ones. If I can just come up with some Christmas characters or icons for you/others to use would be great. I really thought Prinny was a great one for drummer boy because of PSP game in how they attack. I instantly saw drum sticks in their hand instead of knives. That and it's an iconic character that is not a "main" one. If I don't see a Bad Santa I'm going to be upset. I REALLY want to see you make a video character into that and I'm sure you have a fun idea for it. Besides, who doesn't want to see a drunk/raunchy Santa? Excellent job on the drawings, I look forward to seeing the rest.
  19. I have a friend that is big into hot sauces and a whole row of his fridge door was nothing but hot sauce bottles. I bet he had more in selves else where too.
  20. Fairfield (The OG), haven't been to the Eastgate one so not sure which is better for getting hard to find items.
  21. We got it from Jungle Jim's to win a chili cookoff. We were told that the hot ones win so we got the hottest one from Hot Ones show to use. We ended up doing only three toothpick dips worth of the stuff for a whole crock pot and many people said it was too hot. When diluted so much I think it was really wonderful. I did a tooth pick worth right on the tonge and it was pretty fucking bad for 15-30mins. I honestly am not a big hot sauce kind of guy but thought I could add a little to the thread/discussion.
  22. Wifey is a "taster" and says it's smoky, charr-ie, back of the throat heat. I just taste .
  23. I'll just drop this little puppy into the thread. Yes we keep in a bag to avoid accidental hot sauce in the eye issue when handling.
