Demos that are worth more than the full version

What are some demos that are worth more than the full retail version? I know some exist but I can't think of any. I'm not counting trade demo's or kiosk demo's are those were made in very limited supply and were not given to the public. Just the ones that you would receive in the mail or could buy at retail.

Not sure if it's "more expensive" but its definitely super pricey.

The "Keio: Flying Squadron Demo" for Sega CD is pretty expensive since they accidentally put the entire game in there.

I am a huge PS2 demo collector and there are tons of demos for PS2 that go for more than the standard retail games.  A few that come to mind are:

Half-Life
Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex
Beyond Good & Evil
Some of the Gran Turismo Demos
Various Need for Speed Demos
Various Sports Demos (tons of these go for more than the standard retail games)

There are a bunch more of them, but I just know the above stand out in recent memory.

That's because it's not a "Greatest Hits" demo, but rather one that is offering demos of selected games that have received that status.

I dunno if its worth more but isn't there something with RE2?  Didn't it come with a demo for another game, or some other game came with a demo of RE2?  Someone refresh my memory here.  Not good on the disc stuff

Not a demo disc, but a pricey "demo" compared to the original is the Final Fantasy VII VHS tape.  Prices fluctuate, especially depending on condition but it can go for $15-$40, possible more if it's unopened.  Considering you can get a black label FF VII for $25 if you're patient, the price for the VHS tape is on par.

RE 3 came with a Dino Crisis demo disc.

There was also a release of Dino Crisis that came with the RE 3 demo.

And there's a version of RE Director's Cut that came with the RE 2 demo.

@Galdius yes that was it, thank you! I was specifically thinking of the RE3 with Dino Crisis disc.  I was working at a store and someone asked about if the game had the disc, and I forgot the reason why.  Did it have to do with an earlier build of the game or something?

As for other demos, I forgot about this one: Green Lantern for PS3.
I have it in my collection but I never saw another one. I got it as a gift from the manager of a game store that I used to go to.
The retail game is selling for more than I thought it would but I think this demo disc would go for even more to PS3 collectors.

Some of the retail shareware versions (that came in a box) of pc games sell for more than the full versions now. Specifically stuff like Diablo, Warcraft and Duke nukem 3d come to mind.  Most of these are pretty rare now.

Sorry but I’m not ready to part with it. A few months ago another collector already approached me asking to buy it but at least for now I’m going to keep it.
