Both sides are apparently further right-leaning than the middle here in Canada, and that's about all of the conversation I could even stomach. I'm not a politics guy. Look guys, this is a video game forum. We have this and a few other "Everything Else" threads that we've debated just full-on removing and saying "No more politics talk this is a video game forum" but we've left the threads up because we know some people only really talk online on this site and sometimes people need a voice. But if your reason for visiting this site is solely to pop into politics threads and stir up shit it really doesn't matter what side of the lane you're on, half the time I don't even know what your ridiculous American nomenclature means. People don't volunteer on a video game forum so they can moderate hot topic politics threads. I'm not a "put my foot down" guy by any stretch, I'm just sharing openly and transparently - if we have to revisit the "maybe we shouldn't have a politics thread" conversation again there's a pretty high likelihood we just close it up and say it doesn't belong here. I sincerely want to see as little censorship and removal as possible. But y'all seriously need to be way more civil. Warnings, specifics around what gets you one or not, etc. aside -> everyone be civil, stop attacking each other, or you'll soon see these avenues for discussing spicy topics removed. Please no more "democrats this" or "republicans that".
