Standard rules apply: - Photos are not required, but are highly encouraged, especially for less common games. - You must begin and finish the game in 2020. - No cheats and no Gameshark codes. - Saving/continues/passwords are ok, as long as you didn't look up the passwords and the whole game was started and finished in 2020. - Emulators are accepted but don't use them for any unfair advantages over original hardware. - Virtual Console is fine; no 3DS ports or remakes. - You're welcome to let us know what game(s) you're working on, so that we don't duplicate our efforts, but no hard "dibs" rules will be enforced. First person to post that a game is beaten gets the points. - Each game is worth 1 point, plus a half point for each year it wasn't beaten on NA/VGS since 2012. Requirements - 100% not required - Sports games: generally "win the tournament/championship" is the requirement. If a game lets you skip the season and go straight to playoffs, this is allowed. - Traditionally for the N64 thread, credits are the main indication that a game is beaten; exceptions are subjectively agreed upon for easier games. - I haven't personally played all of these games; feel free to correct or challenge any requirement. A few years ago when I played it for the first time, I thought it was easier but maybe I’d just played it on an easier difficulty setting. No worries dude, I actually just completed my US exclusives subset last month, so as far as that goes I'm basically done! Moving on to finish off my PAL fullset this year, and start biting big chunks out of the CIB Japanese set too! 2020 already seems to have a bunch of excitement in store! I have alot of muscle memory for the original controller so it does feel a little weird. It is also very lite, maybe half the weight of the OG, and the A and B buttons feel less convex and more flat. I like to %100 this game when i play it, one of my favorite games. Currently playing some Super Mario World, but man everything feels fresh and new and responsive on the little guy, so it's super refreshing to play.
