80s/90s toys find at garage sale - looking for help

Recommended Posts

Today I went garage-saling and came across a Star Wars / TMNT / Batman haul.  I left some GI Joe stuff at the sale because I'm not a toy guy but thought these were worth getting for $50 total.  In hindsight, I should've grabbed the GI Joe lot too.

Are there easy to access reference tools for old toys?  Like what accessories go to what?  Does anyone have experience with selling/trading old toys?  I'm looking for some advice/guidance because I'm thinking I'll just put these in lots on ebay for $0.99 auctions.    The amount I got today is somewhat overwhelming to go through since I never deal with toys.

Open to selling/trading almost all of this

For Star Wars of any year: https://galacticfigures.com/IDFigures
For TMNT 1988-97 this is your source: https://www.tmnttoys.com/figures1987.html (I used this when I got that box a couple years back)
And for the Joes you left but for others here ya go: https://www.yojoe.com/toys/

Beyond that you're on your own I never bothered or cared to even want comic book hero stuff.  Amazing stuff there, wow...digging that G1 transformer with the Noid too next to it.

What's the joke? Snow Job is a real term that fits his personality. If you're thinking of something rhyming with that, you're reaching...

I'll double your money for the TMNT and Batman stuff alone 😏

Yes the Batman figures are mostly TAS so that's 1992-94. Catwoman looks more like Batman Returns, also '92. The middle Batmobile is definitely from Schumacher Batman or Returns. Not sure about the oldschool one on the left or the hovercraft(?) on the right.

Using Google image search and help identify characters to then use those websites.  Same thing apply with dolls.  Once you determine what it is you can often do a quick ebay sales search for that doll/figure.  Accessories are a big deal and can sell well on their own.  I've not do any selling my self but I've watch a ton of resellers.  Loting up common stuff is a good way to unload stuff that just won't sell on it's own.

If you really are looking to flip kids toys I do recommend you know common bolos for all genders, age ranges, and generations.  It's surprising how a little of knowledge can help you spot expense stuff among "junk".  Many resellers will specialize in certain kind of toys and will often to bolo videos for other resellers.  But if you just want to focus on a few specific toys then really YouTube has a ton of knowledge to share on the buy and selling of toys.  Here are some examples:
