On the PC version you can remove the song entirely, and honestly I was happy to do so when I played on PC years ago.

They havnt issues with shows since the (partial) reunion. From all accounts they have been getting along and doing well for years now

Slash is in my top 3 guitarists of all time (Hendrix, Van Halen). and i really wish Axl would've put out at least one song with AC/DC. 

on GNR's reunion tour a few years ago, i was absolutely not going to go due to the percentage of shows they'd done previously that either didn't happen, stopped after a song or two, and other shenanigans. Then, a buddy said he was getting tickets and asked if i wanted to go. i couldn't say yes fast enough. this was like the 3rd or 4th show, so i had no way of knowing how this would turn out. long story short, it was awesome. i saw them again a couple days later.

6/10 for me. I like some songs, I never really explored their whole catalog, but nothing I've heard really compelled me to. Overall, good band, I understand why they're heralded as one of the greats but nothing more than an occasional listen for me.
