  1. Rumors swirling that a Paper Mario is coming out in 2020 that will be like Paper Mario 64 and TYYD. I don't put too much stock into rumors until more credible sources pick it up. And now it's everywhere so I think this is probably true at this point. Do you believe it? Care? I'm excited. Nintendo has really been giving fans what they want since they launched the Switch.
  2. I bought it on gametz a few years back super mint for $150 but sold it later for the same price, dummy. I have a chance to get one near mint (but a tiny but of wear, outer manual thumbed through) for $160. So a slight downgrade in mintyness for almost the same price. What is the game worth now? I can wait for a mintier perfect copy or grab one now for $160ish. Overpay? Or jump on it?
  3. No I have a nomad so I was just asking what the general cost is for screen, region unlock, replacing the rechargable battery pack, and triple bypass. Of those the ones I am interested in the most is the rechargeable battery replacement and screen.
  4. Thanks for the tip about that. Once I heard that, I decided to go for it. As it was my last hurdle. I bought a Nomad for the genesis games I'll buy. And I'll get an Analogue Super NT for the SNES games. I really can't wait to get a new battery on 7th saga, then load it up on an analogue with hybrid scanlines.
  5. Yep, I remember some forum chat about it being a banjo kazooie type game. I also have a super soft spot for N64 rare games. DK64, BK, BT, and let's not forget Diddy Kong Racing!
  6. So I got a hold of a minty complete Nomad. I want to add -TFT or other screen -Triple Bypass -Region Unlock -rechargable battery replacement with new age battery
  7. oh you didn't realize that? Ok, oh well glad I made it clear!! I'll keep these boxes up a month or so, then do a buy all for real cheap deal. If they don't sell at that point I'll just recycle them.
  8. here ya go. It's regular size just FYI. UncleTusk only does boxes that were never made, like English tranlsations. Or a reg size Earthbound box for example.
  9. sure np will get it for ya. It's an uncle tusk box just wanna make sure you know. coming up!
  10. When my parent's visited my Grandparents when I was under 10. My Grandma busted out my Grandad's Intellivision. So I guess something like Thunder Castle would be fairly obscure right?
  11. Yeah me too. Several years ago I stopped being so OCD about that and now I actually finish games. Way more than I used to. I am still thorough, I just don't have to 100% perfect it.
  12. I just decided to go full hog and just buy a sega nomad and the games that I do want to play. Got a hold of a very minty well taken care of Nomad. Have fun to those that continue to use the awesome sega genesis mini though!!
  13. I wouldn't say 100%. But I do fairly thoroughly play the games. For example in M&L Paper Jam I make sure to earn all of the "avoid 5x in a row" against all enemies. Since I've changed my collection strategy to just buying games I will play right away. I have more games I've beaten sitting on my shelves as opposed to games I "want to beat".
  14. such a neat game to have on DS. I'd be up for it but I paid for the LRG switch version. GL Justin.
  15. getting back into M&L Paper Jam. So alternating between that and Ni no Kuni which I'm near the end of. I usually play 2 RPGs at a time, I don't get burned out when I do that.
  16. right now not much. I mean I only have like 180 or so games, all mint complete in the box. But I am not having much to unload right now (this post also serves as a BUMP!) But I might add a few more switch games in the next couple of weeks.
  17. I can enjoy games from any era. About the only thing I'll say is don't play PS1 games on a large screen. You play them on a small enough CRT, or even on PSP or a PSOne LCD, and they can look pretty sharp.
  18. I don't see it being less than $499. Vertical and Horizontal board, 24"? screen, haptic motors, dmd screen, backlit, possible accelerometers. I would like it to be $199 but they want to make money so. I am their target audience. People with a little desposable income that maybe never played virtual pin before and what a quick easy solution.
  19. well then you are not the target audience.
  20. so now that project lunar included an intro screen (I did save my original file system) would I have to reload that before I install hackchi? (when it comes out of course)
  21. Of course real pinball is and always will be better. But this is about getting a somewhat authentic feel (or I could just say, replicaded feel) of how pinball is intended to be played. If you can get that in the house for $599, or dare I say even $499? Then it's an exciting proposition. Playing the real sport is always more fun, but that doesn't make Golden Tee any less fun as a video golf game. I never get these purists telling people do only enjoy things the exact way they play them. Or maybe they just want to remind people how they are the ones playing the right way. Video games are about fun. And I intend to have fun playing my 3/4 virtual pinball machine.
