  1. As an added bonus, playing all the way to the end of the contest did wonders for my insomnia. I went to bed at 11:30 and slept all night without waking up once.
  2. You picked a good week to take a vacation. Otherwise we both probably would have rolled the score on each other like the old days.
  3. Well, I finally broke the 200k mark so I don't think I'll be playing this again anytime soon.
  4. He had to start his own site to quit being the new Doug so he does have me beat there.
  5. Nah. I probably have enough time to hit 250k if I keep going though.
  6. Ebay should definitely do something about that if the guy canceled the sale saying it was out of stock or damaged and relisted the exact same item for a higher price.
  7. How is that? Didn't you say Famicom games weren't real NES games?
  8. I got about halfway through level 4 on 1 life. That's about the best I usually do. It normally takes me all of my lives to loop it.
  9. You probably could have had a 500k Elevator Action score while you were waiting!
  10. I ended up getting a little over $8600 for it on ebay back then, which was less than I paid. It would probably bring over $100k now.
  11. Trying to get to the loop point after level 4 is borderline impossible with all of your lives. It's a tough game.
  12. I wish there was a place like this around Cincinnati.
  13. I can't believe that I opened mine and played it when I was a kid. I could've been a billionaire!
  14. I'm honestly surprised nobody else figured this out all week.
  15. Yeah, I just left the last red door closed and stayed at the bottom until the enemies started speeding up. Then it was just loop and repeat.
  16. I'd say around an hour. A long, boring hour that I'll never get back.
  17. Probably because it means hours of tedious and repetitive point pressing.
