  1. waoh hl1 us version is 150+ $ now?? i got this years ago all i can find is the small cardboard box version, seems the 1st extra large box is all gone into collector's hands
  2. i've yet to find an "official" proof of what the double digit code is. can't be that hard to find an ex nintendo guy in japan or even usa or europe who knows that... until then, it's all speculation, though we're pretty close... would really like to have this confirmed one day. here's a personal guess, but it's based on the front/back cart shell code, which supposedly follow the same concept (without A or B obviously): i've opened many carts of the same region, and they all have 3X and 3X for the shell code (like F-33 and B-36) so what i'm thinking is that the first number is a factory, and the second number... an assembly line inside that factory? only specific number are used for the 2nd number, for example 0 1 2 never show up. exactly same logic for box inserts, i've done some checking on my wii inserts, and the same few numbers always come back for games of the same region, which most likely indicates a location - not a date for sure, since games from launch and 2/3 years later can have the same code. also, the existence of 00 codes shows that they used hexadecimal base, but it seems they never needed to go higher than 9 anyway
  3. nooo noooo not here, there's a subforum for games entombed in transparent plastic rectangles
  4. yeah tabonga, that's exactly the kind of deal i was referring too
  5. In your case if was almost certainly sold to someone else Have you managed to find it later on?
  6. Now that I think of it, I also had that happen with an agent a long time ago around 2009-10. A loose NES lot had a copy of Mahjong in it, and after a while, the agent told me that cart was not in the lot anymore. I suspect it was the agent itself who bought it for reselling while using my sniffing skills to find good stuff, since the seller didn't seem to know anything about it. Crappiest agent I've used.
  7. Have you guys ever experienced this? You buy small/medium/large lots for specific games which are worth more than the lot price alone, and when you receive your package (or go to pick up in person), you find out ALL or SOME of those valuable/rare/special games are gone. Or a variant of the story, you buy a lot, and just before confirming the deal, or just after paid, the seller tells you this and this game are unfortunately gone, and whether you still want the lot for the same price or for slightly less. The variant story happened to me many times - luckily the original story not yet.
  8. no games for a change early dvd releases by mei ah with blue case and gold foil logo. love the blue/purple/gold palette that wouldn't work in western markets, and very nice when they include english subs.
  9. I can feel the seller peeing in his pants from updating the description 10 times and realising he has 3 months salary bonus (or more)
  10. I admit it's not a masterpiece, and you are right, you have no idea what awaits you next (not just below but in all directions!), but we were slightly drunk and it was the last game we finished that night, so we weren't too picky. I liked both the GG and MS versions of the game, but have not played the MD version.
  11. I like Zool, good time beating it on the Master System, I still remember, in 2010.
  12. wth? why would anybody leave 300 discs inside. i carefully take a cd out and back in its case once done listening https://www.amazon.com/Sony-CDP-CX355-Storage-Compact-Changer/dp/B0000AKKS9 pretty crazy. maybe more useful for shops or restaurants or other commercial locations, i guess
  13. no cart was included. this is the "original" taiwan release, actually this copy is from the very first units ever made, guy had a bunch but threw them away years ago, he kept this one only as memory of the project. maybe when it was resold in other places it came with games, this i don't know (there are photos of a spanish model with different box and silkscreen on the lcd part, so it's confirmed that super fighter offered it to other businesses/distributors with possibility of customising the look).
  14. got this in person from the solution house that built it for game fighter not really made in taiwan like the box says
