Oh don't get me started on USPS. As long as I've been alive we've had issues with them. That's 29 years. They either won't deliver the package which can easily fit in our oversized mail box, thus making us go to the post office which because of where we're actually located is much further then it should be (we're closer to one in another city but because we're in another city...like the freaking border of it and the next city...our post office is way the hell out there.). About 5 years ago we got fed up and installed a decommissioned postal box (old fashioned kind that can handle big packages). Friday I had them give me a notice on a package they "attempted" to deliver...reason they didn't leave it? "No Secure Location Available" WUT? Code for our driver is a lazy asshat who never takes packages in her truck because she's too old and lazy to get out of the little truck and walk oh idk 3 feet to the box? Yeah. Oh and then there's all the times stuff arrives damaged looking like they literally drove over it. Or the stuff that never shows up and is lost. Seriously I hate the USPS. Any other shipping service is better then them. I've never had problems with UPS or FedEx or DHL...why is USPS the trouble child?

No Idea who my SS was, but they got me two games off my want list that I've been wanting for awhile as well as two Funko Pop Mystery Mini's. I managed to luck out and get the two characters I wanted most out of the Mystery Mini boxes.

I'm Jewish too...lol. I still participate in SS though since no one has a Hanukkah themed SS...

I personally like wrapped gifts or even bagged gifts...anything that makes it so I can't see the items so I can put them under my tree and stare at them...daily...since my tree is table top sized and right next to me lol. It's sweet torture. I can't wrap to save my life so I just try to find a bag from the Dollar Tree that looks festive and use it. There's a lot of good bag options if you go that route.

Back in Sept (the 30th actually) I bought the Funko Pop Mini Nightmare Before Christmas advent calendar off of Amazon...for December since I know advent calendars sell fast when the holidays roll around. Well the return window closed Oct 30th. I opened the 21st door today and I had a sealed empty package in the slot no Funko Mini figure. Amazon won't do jack all. So I messaged Funko since it's their fault...error when they made it...wondering what if anything they'd do...probably tell me to shove my complaint up where the sun don't shine. But yeah, don't buy advent calendars early from Amazon...jeez.

Didn't the producer just recently come out and say it is a Christmas movie? I mean if you're going to take anyone's word on it...I'd take the guy who made it's word on it. 9/10. I think it's just an awesome movie...regardless if you think it's Christmas/holiday related.

I got my gift today. I love the wrapping paper and cute Kirby tags. The wrapping paper is giving me some serious retro vibes with something that looks like wood grain. Digging it. Will post reveal on Christmas, for now these babies are sitting under my tree.

The gift has been sent. I hope my giftee likes the games.

Home Alone 2 (I like the original but 2 just beats the original because of the toy store!) Jingle All The Way The Santa Clause An All Dogs Christmas Carol Die Hard And as a few others have said...any Christmas specials of old TV shows/cartoons. I don't watch a lot of Christmas movies honestly. I'm more into Halloween then Christmas but if I happen across one of these movies playing, I'll watch it. I do love Home Alone 2 though lol.

Both games have arrived safely. Now I just need to package it all out and send it tomorrow. Unfortunately I can't test the games myself as the console I have for those games isn't working...which is a new issue...soooo...I'm really hoping the games work. I mean the sellers said they tested the games so, I'm just going to trust them. Nothing I can do within the time left...I can't afford to get a new console and idk how to fix it myself. Update: Ok I just managed to get the console working long enough to quickly boot the games up to the starting screens. I'm calling it good, they work. Now I don't need to worry.

Well according to the updates it somehow made it's way from Alabama all the way to my city in a single day so there's...something going on with the USPS scanning lol. I should be getting it today or tomorrow since it's in my city...hopefully.

I managed to have one of the games my SS wanted already that I never play so why not. I had to order two others and ughhhh USPS is so slow. Supposedly I'll be getting the games tomorrow but I have my doubts. I especially have my doubts as one of the sellers waited several days before finally shipping the game out.

He might be able to pop one more book out before he passes but idk if he'd finish the series before passing. I've read the books and watched up to the Red Wedding in the TV show. I much prefer the books.

So I was just thinking to myself around this time last year I think Secret Santa started and sure enough, last year on Nov 8th, it did. So just wondering when this years was going to start. I'm hyped.

Been going to more thrift stores lately...and I actually managed to find Goodwill's that had games?! I couldn't believe it either lol. Goodwill #1: PS2 EyeToy AntiGrav - $4 (CIB) PS2 EyeToy Kinetic - $4 (CIB) Wii Mario Kart Wii - $4 (CIB) This Goodwill was in the middle of nowhere and I've never been so I figured that's why it had games still (that and who the hell collects EyeToy games...except me because exclusives lol...actually AntiGrav looks fun...) Goodwill #2: PS1 Pitfall 3D - $3 (CIB) What surprised me was that it was a PS1 game at a Goodwill...and it was at a Goodwill close by that I've never seen games at...who knew. Salvation Army: GBA Spyro 2 - $13 (with manual, no box) So I probably over spent given the fact I own Spyro 2 but I wanted that manual...I also regret buying anything from Salvation Army because of their views... HPB: GC Resident Evil 3 - $60 (CIB) 360 Anarchy Reigns - $8 (sealed) 360 Gears of War 2 - $6 (CIB) 360 Gears of War 3 - $5 (sealed) I think I paid a decent price on Resident Evil 3...I really wanted to treat myself plus it's been on my want list for awhile...and the price was lower then eBay so it just felt right. The other games are just filling in holes in my 360 collection. So overall some decent games...some odd choices, a regret, but nothing too horrible. But nothing amazing either.

Been awhile. I haven't been able to find games during the few times I do manage to go to a thrift store so finding games is a bit hard. I did luck out and run into a pawn shop really quickly. I managed to find Gameboy games of all things! Usually this pawn shop doesn't have old games so I was pretty surprised. Labels all nice and clean. The person must have taken care of their games. I tried uploading pictures of these but I keep getting an error so idk what to do...

So there's a Youtuber I watch and she just came out with this video where she buffs/resurfaces nasty looking games and makes them look decent... But I was sure that most at home methods of doing this ended up doing more harm then good? idk, you tell me. Is it a good idea and should I race out and get the supplies or should I avoid this and let a game store use their professional machine to resurface my discs? Here's the video:
