Wait 'til you hear about egg punk!

I’m always down for some silly bullshit.  I tread lightly with the techno stuff.  Never got very deep into punk stuff beyond some melodic/pop stuff.   Speaking of which, Hot Water Music is touring.  Flew to Vegas years ago to see them with Rise Against and Gaslight Anthem  and the Hard Rock started them as they opened doors.  Hate that so much.  Happened to me with Beyond the Embrace once too.  Anyways, they’re touring with Tim Barry of Avail, who has been a big favorite of mine for a long time.

Oh yeah, Laura Jane Grace is touring too.  I’d like to see that but damn it I’m going to want to see Pints of Guiness.  Fuck im drinking.

Saw Steve Vai in Columbus and he didn't turn the sound down at all even though it was a garage with maybe 60 people in it. Even with earplugs I was still smarting a bit.

Otherwise, not many. Fell asleep at an Aerosmith concert once.

  3. Worth the listen.  Album is a serial killer based rock opera?  I read an article where the guy is apparently a city worker in Burbank and he was working on new material but didn’t make much progress recently because decorating the city for Xmas demanded so much of his time lol ❤️

Gotta agree here. A deep shelf that you just lose depth with spacers = wasted space. I'm on a narrow (even more than usual) city lot so I try to make efficient use of everything.

Needed for stability, once you get much more than 6 feet tall. I build my own so I can easily go up to the ceiling and I always use that.

Lol yeah I could see that but in this particular instance they’re about 5 feet tall and actually they’ve held up pretty well for being a decade old and getting moved around a lot.  You end up with a fucked up row on the bottom too that I always actually kind of liked as a just in case because they were in the basement.

Wait, I misunderstood this question. I've lived abroad before and I definitely did the stereotypical pronunciation, like everyone else. Doing it the other way, nobody understood me.

Me too.  It’s weird to switch back, but I was in Germany so you know fuck it let’s get a little drunken Arnold but I think I’d feel weird in some other locales.

The Goonies R Good Enough by Cyndi Lauper should be on the list!  And maybe Day-O from Beetlejuice.  Bohemian Rhapsody in Wayne's World?  (Are we only including songs made FOR the movie or just notably used in it?)

Cyndi Lauper would have been my choice.  I’ve got a real thing for her stuff.

  7. Lol.

    I went with:

    Dangerzone

Eye of the Tiger - this tune takes me right back to those intense sweaty evenings in the wrestling room every time 😉.  The Rocky IV soundtrack has some of my all time favorite workout songs.  Eye of the Tiger is not at the top of the list.

My Heart Will Go On - Mother F’in Celine Dion had a hell of a voice.

  8. As a half-jew I find it completely abhorrent and the worst kind of disingenuous that any criticism of Israel’s atrocities gets painted as anti-semitic. My grandfather didn’t die in Dachau so that these fucking hucksters could leverage the Holocaust as political cover for their bullshit.

And another thing, who the hell am I supposed to vote for this year?  I don't see Kanye West or Princess Khadijah Maryam Jacob-Fambro running in this election.

You can always vote for me.  I’m running on a platform consisting entirely of promoting the death penalty for anyone that doesn’t use their blinker.
