  1. Where can I get more information about this kind of stuff (boards, revs and such)?
  2. I've been searching about deactivating the lockout chip pin and noticed that my NES motherboard is different from most pictures. Usually, there are three capacitors around the chip (two electrolytic, one ceramic). They are placed elsewhere on mine. Is this relevant or something, maybe an earlier rev?
  3. Thanks a lot for this spreadsheet. Just checking, these prices are for cartridges in near mint condition right? (labels intact, regular use marks, no writings with permanent markers)
  4. Bought this one for 60 dollars. Just finished fixing it's connector and cleaning up the controllers. The controllers were specially nasty, lots of kids sweat and dead skin cells all around. The result was so good that I added some pictures. Amazing what an old toothbrush, soap and some scrubbing did to them.
  5. I'm starting my collection and interested in the most classic and widely available titles, up to $20 with some exceptions. So, if you have extra copies that you want to get rid of, that's my your chance
  6. !!! (these are the dots queen's royal guard)
  7. Angus is the guitarist, Brian Johnson is the singer
  8. What are the requisites for a pop report entity? I believe the Achilles heel of pop rep is the lack of a unique identifier on the outer side of boxes.
  9. huh-huh Angus is stupid... or something. It's like he's 80 and still in school huh-huh but he's a cool dumbass huh-huh
  10. There was a point in my life when I realized that, in the long run, a band has two options when it comes to their music/style: do the same or do something new. In both cases they will be criticized. I no longer consider this a parameter to like/dislike. Yeah AC/DC sounds the same, it's called "music style". If you see me rockin with my headphones on it's very likely it's AC/DC, can't stand still () when I'm listening to them.
  11. Wata grading feels "inversely exponential" to me, X being the quality and Y the score. It's relatively easy to tell the score a box will get up to 9 but up from that, every .2 increment is a mystery and the criteria gets very rigorous and mysterious.
  12. It's very comfortable to thrash someone, saying things that aren't true, believing he won't read or respond. But I expected that. Look I don't care if someone disagrees with me and I really meant it, I'm not looking for validation. I did not *start* a debate, I just replied to one and my intention was to point out that people are behaving just like people do before social disasters. I'm not a bit worried about people thrashing me for my opinion not being "the acceptable" or something. I really believe that we will only be able to talk about what we're going through in ten/twenty years. Until then my role is to ask people if they aren't going a little too far when judging other people's choices. It may be already too late. I said that the vaccines are c**p and someone understood that I'm saying the disease is not a big deal. This is not the kind of debate I'm used to. It's a recipe for flame wars and no one is interested in hearing, just pointing fingers and identifying "the dangerous ones". You did a mea-culpa just to accuse me, again, of something I didn't say and here I am trying to fix your misunderstanding... I said exactly what I said, nothing else. I did not say they aren't a big deal, I said they are c**p because they don't protect as much as we were told they would and the pandemic is not over like they said it would be. And you must be out of your mind to say that you understood that I said getting sick is better than getting vaccinated... I can't even...
  13. I never said such thing. I'm sorry if you understood that but I never said or inferred that. I'm putting the topic in the ignore list.
  14. What about Road Rash 3? Because I was mistaken and the one I've got is the third
  15. Yeah, I know. That's the problem. I'm out. Be excellent to each other.
  16. Yeah let's give them stars or tattoos. Oh but we won't have to if we just remove them from society. Right? I'm sorry, I can't agree with this stuff. If employers want all their staff to vaccinated, it's liberty. When a government steps in and forces everyone to something, it's not. I believe we're heading to a very dark social situation and just wanted to give my two cents on the matter. We have to be careful not to repeat the past while believing good intentions are enough.
  17. These are two separated topics. I'm talking about the vaccines not about morons in suits (all politicians included). No way I'll get into politic discussion. My point is that social segregation will be a disaster worse than the virus. You can heal a virus in a year but social rupture takes decades.
  18. Anyone who doesn't want to get vaxxed should have an alternative besides getting kicked out of their jobs or from society altogether. See, I'm not against vaccines. I stayed home with my wife while she had Covid, our routine completely unchanged (except her not going to work) and I didn't even sneeze. Why I'm telling you this? Because, rationally, I didn't have to get shot. I was already immune and getting shot would add the risk of collateral effects. People should have the right to reject something they don't trust and forcing them to take it, by threatening them with unemployment, travel restrictions and such, won't make things better, it won't convince them to let go whatever crazy reasoning they have against it. It will only make them more distrustful. I believe these Covid vaccines are total c**p. Here in Brazil we have dengue, a disease transmitted by mosquitoes. It has a stronger variant called hemorrhagic dengue. About ten years ago they developed a vaccine. Long story short: after 5 years they discovered that people vaccinated against hemorrhagic dengue were more likely to develop this stronger variant. Only now they have another vaccine to correct this. Maybe. So, I completely respect the individual liberty of not getting vaccinated against Covid and at the same time I don't treat people like they have the plague. No one knows the long term side effects. There are reports that the immune response from vaccines lasts only 6 to 12 months. People and their families don't deserve to be homeless, starve to death or be removed from society because they are suspicious of something other people think it's flawless. It's not.
  19. Thanks! As it has always been, it's all about the pattern.
