I’m still holding out hope that they’ll make a dragon quest monsters joker 4 and another rocket slime game.

Ended up with this team in my last draft. Projected to go 12-2

I don’t have as much confidence in burrow as I do with Mahomes, Herbert, murray, or Brady. I’d forego the burrow chase combo to get a better qb. I always get 2 after experiencing several qb injuries over the years. Plus it’s nice to have one for the bye week. Hill will help tua but I doubt tua will finish as a top 10qb in fantasy Yea that’s usually how I draft too unless there’s a special circumstance. This year Rhamondre is a guy I want so I made sure to get him a little earlier so that no one else grabbed him. No one in this league is a first timer. They just draft strangely. One guy doesn’t draft a kicker

It’s a mix of family and friends. There were a lot of odd picks. Allen went 15th overall. And then a kicker went in like round 6 or 7. Some other odd picks late in the draft for 3rd string rbs but that I think was just people being hopeful to find a diamond in the rough

Thanks! Nope. People were sleeping on qbs for a while. Mahomes was the 2nd qb to go after Allen. I could’ve chosen Herbert but I wanted the Mahomes kelce combo. People just went nuts and picked all rbs early. It was something crazy like 20/23 of the first picks were RBs so I was like oh okay if you’re gonna mess with my plan going into the draft then I’ll play your little game and take the two best TEs since I had back to back picks since I had 1st pick overall. They did not like me choosing kelce and andrews lol

Hmm maybe I found a different way to play it? It’s been a long time since I played it but I don’t remember the movement being a pain. The only DS game I can distinctly remember where controls were bad to the point the game was basically unplayable was ivy the kiwi which is a shame because it’s excellent on the Wii.

I have a draft in like 2.5hrs. 12 person league. I have first pick. I’m thinking Jonathan Taylor first obvi but from then on what? RB, WR next 2 picks? Then QB WR? Grab kelce or andrews early instead of a WR?

Huh we had a very different experience. I don’t remember the game being bad or the controls being bad at all. If you want bad controls for a more recent game look at kid Icarus uprising.

And I’m up to two games beaten this year now lol. Just finished up Wargroove on the switch. Excellent game

After a couple years of on and off playing and getting stuck on the 2nd to last battle in the game, I have FINALLY beaten Wargroove. Super good game especially if you like tactics games like Fire Emblem and Advance Wars. It has its own charm, it’s not too easy, and it has nice battle mechanics. The 2nd to last battle took me a ton of tries to beat and I got a lovely D rank when I finally did lol. You’re extremely outnumbered, the enemy takes control of one of your units every other turn, you can’t get more units easily at all, and if you lose any unit during the battle you lose. The last battle was tough too but not as bad as the 2nd to last one.

Alright I gotta add Wargroove to the list just for the last 2 battles in the game alone. It’s a tactics game like advance wars. The 2nd to last battle took me at least 15 tries to beat and I only ended up beating it by resorting to a checkpoint I saved in the game. If any single unit on your team dies in this battle, you lose. One tiny wrong move and you’re done. then the last battle was pretty tough too. Not as bad but you have a tiny crew against a giant force. Solid game, definitely recommend but tough at the end.

Mario Kart 64 just really isn’t good. The controls are awful and you can barely see the course on many levels. The only Mario kart that is worse than N64 is super Mario kart. You want the successor games in a franchise to improve and that is the case with Mario kart. You don’t want games to be like Pokémon where they regress with later iterations. There are plentyyyyy of old games that are better than newer games or still just as good, or even different, but aged well. Super Mario bros 3 for example is better than new super Mario bros or really most current Mario games. Mario 64 just really didn’t age well. Star fox 64 did. I could go on and on. Smash bros is worse than later iterations, etc etc

Had to give it a 4 since every Mario kart that came after it is better in every way. Saying Mario kart 64 is a good game is like having played call of duty but still saying 007 on n64 is a good game. At the time of release we all thought these n64 games were good because we didnt have much to compare them too but they’re super outdated and have not aged well at all.

I gotta say fire emblem conquest was pretty difficult. That might be it for me. Cave story’s final boss was tough but other than that not too crazy. Not too many more after that come to mind right away

From what I remember, both geometry wars galaxies and tingles rosy rupeeland used the touchscreen well. I would add Pokémon trozei but that one just ended up scratching your screen real badly.

Lol I really don’t understand that owner. I had a kinda similar situation years ago where this store’s games were all like 50-100% over the going rate and I pointed that out to them and they really didn’t like that and told me not to come back to the store. Like sorry bro, maybe don’t price the $50 smash bros game for $100?
