Konami released yugioh legacy of the duelist 3 years ago on switch. As long as they keep pumping out yugioh games, that’s all I’ve ever cared about coming from them tbh.

This is super easy 

Wargroove is the clear winner. It’s an excellent tactics game similar to advance wars. The final boss is actually pretty difficult, the characters are charming, the mechanics are solid, and it has great post game stuff with extra missions to play. 

don’t bother with tiny metal. That one is more about exploring rather than battling and the battles are pretty easy. 

fire emblem 3 houses is decent but becomes a dating sim and just very repetitive after a while. 

Civ vi is solid. It’s just uh how do I put it. It shouldn’t be on the switch. The switch can’t properly process everything going on on the map when there are like 50+ units and it’s noticeably laggy. Definitely takes away from the game play. 

digimon survive I’m still not sure. I’m probably 2 hrs in and have done a whopping 1 real battle outside of the tutorial. It’s more a visual novel than a game so far. I’m hoping that changes soon but yea. The gameplay is solid so far, it’s just that there really hasn’t been much game play. 

and then we’re still waiting on advance wars reboot which should be solid when it finally arrives.

Maybe we’re all looking at it wrong. MAYBE he’s not running out of fuel. MAYBE he’s constipated and has to take a massive dump and the clouds are really his fart clouds.

Funny we all see it differently. I see a bird with a beak and his two white feet at the bottom, the black part by his feet being his tail feathers, the bluish part being his belly and the black parts around that being his folded up wings. And then the white dot in the middle of his head is a third eye like a third eye Raven.

That’s from shovel knight which is a pretty recent game but according to the googs “Shovel Knight is a 2D side-scrolling platform game with an 8-bit graphical style.”

I love me some monsters from dragon quest. Lol Ive never looked at Droll that way but he does look weird.

Very easy 10/10 for me. Thoroughly enjoyed this game and have always wished they’d go back to this formula in future paper Mario games. Everything about this game was great, with the badge and leveling up system being one of my favorite parts.

I told this story back on NA, so forgive me if you heard it before:

So we’d just dropped my kids off at practice and we’re driving home. Suddenly out of the corner of my eye is spot something big and yellow and adorable. I immediately shout at my wife to stop the car. Before she’s fully parked I jump out to confirm the sighting—sure enough it’s the very rare Pikachu statue alleged to have been used to promote Pokémon Yellow. This thing is just sitting in the entrance to some random building. And I do mean random—this place is an Odd Fellows museum….yeah.

When I get back to the car my wife is understandably confused and annoyed. I explain to her what I found and why it’s cool, and she just stares at me like I’m an idiot, then tells me that this freaking statue has been there for years…

YEARS.

This is crazy for 3 reasons: 

1. this thing is legitimately rare
2. It’s only 5 blocks from my house
3. How has nobody picked this up?

The wife goes back like a week later and finds out that the owner set the statue there because the museum is a Pokémon Go stop. So that explains that. She asks to buy, dude agrees, she pays $200, and Pikachu now lives in my basement.

I love it. It’s in pretty great shape except for one thing, years sitting in a window have left it a touch sun faded. I’ve seen people restore these and they end up looking really great, but is this one of those things that’s better left original? 

I don’t mind spending the money to get it repainted but I don’t know if that’s the right move. What do you guys think?
