  1. Anyone have any suggestions for where to go for NeoGeo Pocket/Color protectors? I'm only aware of one seller on eBay who's got them and his pictures look like they're only designed for the cardboard boxes, but because the plastic clamshells and the cardboard boxes aren't the same size I don't want to not be able to get something that fits both. Any insight is appreciated.
  2. Nope and I've got 1k+ titles for both DS and PS1. Simply because I'm not chasing games to play, but for them to go towards the full library. If they're incomplete/missing things I'll just end up replacing them. May as well make them right the first time through.
  3. Actually it's deeper than that. It's dependent on the revision of the specific game that determines the 'digital manual' insert... Some games only had a version... some had far far more.
  4. Ooh. This is a variant I've not seen before. **added to my list** The DC on a whole doesn't have a TON of variants that I've caught and I've basically got all of them I'm aware of (save one) to go with the full DC set. While I've gone through the library a few times in variant chases, I'm sure I'm still missing a number, as this is the second newly found variant I've now had pointed out in the last few months.
  5. The Kid Icarus one will be interesting, because they did at one point sell extra bundles of the cards that were packed in w/ the game, but I don't remember ever seeing the game. I've got 5 of those packs (which was the purchase limit at the time), but those came in pretty generic packaging and if you didn't get them directly from NOA you'd be hard pressed to 'tell' the difference. The mystery of it all does scare me a little and why I started searching out the year+ ago when I posted in here. I'm going to be searching for those two Mario titles for a LONG time no question (P.S. if you ever find more... you've got a buyer in me).
  6. Well if it's anything like what happened with the DS or 3DS, they'll be very 'of the moment' type things and if you're not there when they are *poof* they're gone. Heck, we've seen what, 3 3DS games in total? Lot more WiiU/Wii games than than the handhelds seem to have gotten and never anything like Pokemon either, which had tons of games made and printings up the wazoo for.
  7. So about 2 weeks ago, after months of nothing (since Jan 2021 when the systems all sold out), NOA dropped more systems on site. I didn't get the chance to snag a flat blue 2DS but I did get one of the reds.... There may have been more, but I didn't get a chance to see what there was as the word got pushed out via a few large 'deals' accounts and I was out of luck... BUT A variant enters the ring... The UPC is 0 45496 68215 6 Below that it says ITEM# FTRSWA01 The second sticker, like with the other system I posted is just a sticker that says "Serial No:" and the system serial number
  8. You rang? Hard thing is that value for stuff is so all over the wall now. Stuff that was never going for money, let alone stupid money has blown up the last year thanks to the pandemic. I don't think that Dangerboy or I could really accurately assess items some dude who's walking into Pawn Stars with something legitimately rare and pinning down an accurate price. Because as most should know, rare does not equal value. I've got some things for the PS that are very very very rare and I could guarantee that they'll not pull as much as someone dumping bad money after good for a sealed (not even graded) Crash Bandicoot or Resident Evil. People tend to chase the notoriety or known items over something that's really scarce/rare because that's where the flip is vs where the deep dive collector resides IMO. If you need a price estimate on something let me know, I'll gladly take a swing at it and i'll bounce it off DB too (we chat near daily).
  9. Everything to do with cost. Removing a full cover label and going to a simple black (or white) screen as 99% of GH games have and you've got the simple answer. When the game has a top price of $20 bucks everything is going to be cost stripped when at all possible. It may not be much per disc, but that adds up when it's a large run of them.
  10. If you zoom in on the pic you can see the first SKU nicely. It has 0 45496 68217 0 for the barcode, under that it says item#JANSBA01 The other sticker is the serial number for this particular system so it's not really relevant for tracking/noting purposes.
  11. It's not for sale and won't be. It's part of the wall of 3DS. The below pic is from last summer. The wall has only gotten.... bigger. Here's the 2DS XL and here's OoT. The sticker has picked up dirt over the years as it's come partially unpeeled a few times on that front end, but that's how this one came. Sticker sealed, no shrink.
  12. The bigger question is what are you considering a variant...
  13. This was something I always wondered if anyone had really been tracking. I've only got a few that I have immediate access to, but that includes New Super Mario Bros. U 2 pack, Pikmin 3, Super Mario 3D World for Wii U and Ocarina of Time for 3DS. I may have a few others (I think mostly Wii titles, but probably some Wii U ones too) , but they'll be in storage. I also snagged a 2DS XL just before they dropped out of stock a few weeks ago, it came in a generic while box with a sticker on it, similar to the NES Classic refurb pictured earlier. Both Wii U Mario games are Y fold sealed, while Pikmin 3 (Wii U) and OoT for 3DS are sticker sealed. I'm original order-er and owner of them all. If pictures are needed, just holler. For some silly reason I've got 2 Super Mario 3D Worlds and the dupe would totally be tradable towards any 3DS games that got the treatment. Now to chase down those Mario 3DS titles...
  14. Nice. It took them about a month to process my tickets for some reason and I just got first movement on mine late last week, so I should see the stuff I ordered by the end of the week if I"m lucky. Sadly, they killed the free game via tickets option a while back. I would have been able to cash in on 4 or 5 but lost out because I just didn't track the changes to the old ticket systems enough. Oh well, lots of trading cards coming my way instead.
  15. Just going to throw out there, that LR has been sliding away from PS4 titles for a long while. When Switch hit, the buyers heavily flooded to that from the PS4 buying and PS4 games that have had fixed releases from LRG have almost all been at 1,500-2,000 copies (that's even factoring in CE's if one gets it now) for quite a while. Very few get open pre-orders and a few have somewhat higher counts, likely due to older contracts or because they'll actually move a bit better (Metal Slug, Fatal Fury of the more recent releases) but otherwise they've focused on CE bundles and Switch because that's where the money is now. PS4 don't pay the bills like it used to. Some of that is title fatigue no question (The most recent PS4 release, Demon's Tier+ is LRG #373, and since that numbering is shared between Vita and PS4, that means LRG has published ~272 PS4 titles so far), some is the titles that are releasing just not being sales drivers (and they've admitted that there were a few times where they oversigned and brought titles out they probably should have taken second looks on) and some is just additional competition from others like Special Reserve, IAm8Bit and the other small party publishers dropping other titles. A collectors dollars only go so far and the market is saturated now. Most of LRG's wait times are tied back to switch production restraints at this point, but everything has been drawn out due to the pandemic in general. They run a full month to maximize pre-order sales if they're open orders, then those are submitted and those take ~2-3 months to get made and shipped back if no hiccups occur. Factor in if you've combined other things into that order that aren't done yet, the the orders sit still they are. Their shipping is slower now too because they're not allowing as many people to work in the space to help keep safe distancing in the shipping warehouse. I've had a year+ wait for Skullgirls and a bunch of other stuff take a LONG time to get fulfilled and other stuff that's been announced and delays or whatever hold it back for just as long (Atooi Collection, Papers Please, Super Meat Boy) and have an in processing order list similar to Skorp's there. I'm well at the point of I'll see it when I do. It all just sits on the shelf as is.
  16. Nope. I am about 95% certain that I got it from one of my SF Bay Area Half Priced Books somewhere around 2016 (it was used, that i'm 100% on). (the other 5% means it coulda come from MGC and that would have been 2017, but that wasn't the kind of stuff I was looking for when I was at that MGC so I don't think that I'd have picked that up to ferry home). Sadly, no clue where the HPB got it from though. I didn't actually grab it because of the label error and didn't notice it until later after it came home.
  17. I think I posted this on NA years ago, to try and figure out what the under label is. Someone figured out that it was the European version of Zorro, so it got relabeled for some reason.
  18. Thanks. That's the full set, and another ~250+ Selects and other kinds of variants, so the regular cases are eating up 1/3 more space than they'd normally do on the wall. And as you can see the big boxes just eat a ton of space and at some point I'll rezone it all again and make everything be in one area, rather than split.
  19. Mine came off of eBay and was from a Canadian seller. I bought it back in the very beginning of 2017 based on the emails I'm seeing. It wasn't common then when I got it either.
  20. Probably/possibly? I've not been active here really at all since the flip from NA, but was there for a decade and been on DP longer than that. I'm in a few facebook groups, one is DS/3DS based and have chatted with a few folks there on the side about this stuff, so it wouldn't surprise me.
  21. You're nearly 20% through the library! I think when it's all said and done, I'll end up having nearly as many if not as many variants as there were released titles, with double digits on a few of the Nintendo published ones, so don't feel too bad. I've done this torture to myself.
  22. You're missing the redo of the Selects Animal Crossing New Leaf; Animal Crossing New Leaf: Welcome Amiibo! It was a full new release with updated code to the cart and new packaging and product code. I'll need to check my big boxes to see if anything there was/is missing. Been a while since I've logged into the site but was checking in randomly and saw the 3DS thread at the top so figured I should share the 3DS wall. Full US set. Slow chasing all the Canadian (and any other North American) variants. A few things aren't in the picture either because this is a few weeks old or because they got misplaced when I was first loading up the wall, but they're around somewhere. I'd post just a picture, but imgur is currently down, so you get my few weeks old twitter pic instead.
  23. Welp, just went over only to see that NA is now throwing up a 503 error. It appears that she's gone folks.
