  1. I wasn’t trying to be funny in my previous post. To figure out repro vs authenticity, you basically need to be a detective nowadays. It’s not as simple as just looking at one factor. You gotta look at all the clues at the contents of the item in question, as well as a gauge on the experience and trustworthiness of the seller. The more you factor things in, the less chance a scam can occur.
  2. I’m now curious to know what is the worst N64 game in your view? I’ve got the game but haven’t bothered to give it a try thanks to having watched an AVGN episode on it.
  3. So are you saying someone’s already made it to stage 255? The mind boggles to think how much reflexes, mental focus and stamina would be needed! I can imagine it would be akin to playing a vertical shooter with constant bullets coming at you for hours without a stage break!
  4. 36 SNES CIBs added. Probably the last 36 games for me to sell if I was forced to sell. Collectively, they were like the best friend I ever had, having spent so much bonding time with the majority in this lot!
  5. Honestly felt like a sample clip of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. When Charlie discovered the Golden ticket, and then freaked out. Pretty awesome achievement though. This lad is one dedicated gamer and likely to be a brainiac too!
  6. The main thing I learnt from the Q+A is that avatar!’s avatar is Avatar! I did wonder what that thing was..
  7. It’s a definite 10/10 with this game. Instantly playable, totally memorable and a ton of replayability. When you can enjoy a game so much and you keep coming back for more, then that’s a winning formula in my book!
  8. Check seller feedback and have a gauge on how experienced the seller has of selling mint games. Many past sales of mint items with good feedback is usually a good sign that the seller has authentic stuff. Sellers with low feedback or a lot of past negative feedback, then be more cautious of dodgy selling practices.
  9. I work in the health field and my general advice is don’t focus so much on the weight, but more your general fitness and the blood pressure, blood sugar and cholesterol. Aim for those key parameters to be within normal range and that would be reassuring to me. I’ve seen people on the skinny side or at the lower limits of the normal BMI range, but can still have diabetes or high cholesterol, which is more a health risk than looking good on the outside. Myself, I’ve always played sports as a hobby and have maintained a normal BMI for most of my life. Lately though, I’ve been a sports junkie, and training or playing tennis most days a week. I’ve also cut back on my work hours to purely focus on my health and trying to enjoy life more. I plan to start going to gym or might try a marathon this year. Seeing threads like this inspires me more to…run more!
  10. I’d argue that full set collecting is more a collector mindset. There will be some “fillers” which just by looking or playing it for a quick few seconds you know you’ll spend a painful, torturous time if you’ll keep proceeding. Then there will be some that you’ll know will be bettered by superior games within the same genre on the same platform. With some games having obvious inferior graphics, sounds, game mechanics and poor hit detection, what incentives would make you want to play out more than stage 1? I can understand trying out a game out of curiosity might be a goal for some. But trying it and actually spending time playing it, is not quite the same motives.
  11. Comments and suggestions welcome. I’ll be doing updates every few weeks (at least that’s the aim). As a side note, does anyone know how many pics or MB I can add in one post?

  17. Dreamcast Sealed Dreamcast House of Dead 2 with gun controller. A very iconic arcade shooter by Sega, along with Virtua Cop. Look at the original price tag when it originally came out around 2000!
