  1. In that middle pic, he looks like he should be holding a beer and a TV remote
  2. Our posts crossed in the ether so you missed my updated list. For reasons too complex to get into, I can't do any selling at the moment.
  3. I updated the above post to fill in missing info. This should be all the 1st party titles except Mat Mania, which I only have sealed. Also included the two PAL exclusives. Not sure if the 32 in 1 counts since its really a 2600 cart despite the label.
  4. Nice list. I've got all but #1,#3, and #8. The rest were all found in the wild for under $5 each back in the good old days. I sure miss those days.
  5. OK, I spent an enjoyable hour going thru 3 boxes of 7800 carts. I've coded these as country of origin [HK=Hong Kong], end label style [standard=black text on gray/silver, red text = red text on silver, or white text on red], copyright date [the later date for games with two dates], and S or I for Straight or Italicized copyright text. Some observations: The Taiwan games have a more silvery end label than those from other areas, but since it seemed consistent I didn't differentiate. All the 3rd party titles seemed to have no variants, except Tomcat F-14 with the erroneous 2600 labels. Tower Toppler was the only game I found with both red text and black text end labels BallBlazer has both red-on-gray and white-on-red end labels Not all games are listed. Ace of Aces (China/Standard/88S) Alien Brigade (China/standard/90S) Asteroids (Taiwan/standard/86S & HK/standard/87S) Ballblazer (HK/red text/87S, HK/red text/88S, & HK/white text on red/87S) Basketbrawl (China/standard/90S) Centipede (Taiwan/standard/86S, Taiwan/standard/87S, HK/standard/87S, & HK/standard/87I) Choplifter (HK/red text/87I, HK/red text/87S, & HK/red text/88S) Commando (China/standard/89S) Crack'ed (china/standard/88S) Crossbow (china/standard/87S) Dark Chambers (china/standard/88S) Desert Falcon (HK/red text/87I) Dig Dug (HK/standard/87S & HK/standard/87I) Donkey Kong (HK/standard/88S & china/standard/88S) Donkey Kong Jr. (HK/standard/88S) Double Dragon F-18 Hornet Fatal Run (China/standard/90S) Fight Night (china/standard/88S) Food Fight (Taiwan/standard/86S, HK/standard/87I, & HK/standard/88S) Galaga (Taiwan/standard/86S, Taiwan/standard/87S, HK/standard/87I, HK/standard/87S, & HK/standard/88S) Hat Trick (HK/red text/87S) Ikari Warriors (china/standard/89S) Impossible Mission (China/red text/87S) Jinks (China/standard/89S) Joust (Taiwan/standard/87S & HK/standard/87S) Karateka (HK/red text/87S & HK/red text/88S) Kung-Fu Master Mario Bros (HK/standard/88S & USA/standard/88S) Mat Mania Challenge Mean 18 Ultimate Golf (china/standard/89S) Meltdown (china/standard/90S) Midnight Mutants (china/standard/90S) Motor Psycho (china/standard/90S) Ms. Pac-Man (HK/standard/87I & HK/standard/87S) Ninja Golf (china/standard/89S) One-On-One Basketball (HK/red text/87I & HK/red text/87S) Pete Rose Baseball Planet Smashers (china/standard/89S) Pole Position II (HK/standard/83S with picture label & B&W label with 87S copyright) Rampage Realsports Baseball (HK/standard/88S) Robotron 2084 (HK/standard/87I & Taiwan/standard/86S) Scrapyard Dog (china/standard/90S) Summer Games (taiwan/red text/87S) Super Huey (china/standard/88S) Super Skateboardin' Tank Command Title Match Pro Wrestling Tomcat F-14 (2600 label & 7800 label) Touchdown Football (china/standard/88S) Tower Toppler (Taiwan/red text/88S & China/standard/88S) Water Ski Winter Games (Taiwan/red text/87S) Xenophobe (China/standard/89S) Xevious (Taiwan/standard/86S, HK/standard/86S, & HK/standard/87S) ----------------------- Sentinel (PAL) (china/standard/91S) 32-in-1 (PAL) yellow label w/ black text, no end label
  6. I'll take look thru my box of 7800 games and see if I've got any variants not yet listed.
  7. The Atari 2600 was my first console so I've got a soft spot for it, and my 3DS and WiiU probably get the most play, but I really prefer older computers, especially the C64. I started with the C64 back in 1982 when they were brand spanking new, after a couple years of using cp/m machines. Part of my wife's dowry when we hitched up was a VIC-20 so I got a chance to try that out too. Later, when they started showing up at the thrifts/yard sales I picked up the competitors (Atari,CoCo,TI99 and later Amiga and Atari ST) to see what I had missed out on. I love them all, but the C64 is the only one I know well enough to sound semi-intelligent discussing.
  8. No, not the Nintendo Switch, but the switch from that *other* site to here. Looking forward to a fresh start. By way of introduction, I'm a collector of most anything videogame and vintage computing related. After amassing a massive collection I'm now spending my retirement years actually playing some of the games I found over the years. Turns out I suck at playing most games, but hey, they still look pretty on the shelves.
  9. I've noticed a slight uptick in the number of older cartridge games making it out to the sales floor of local thrifts. Maybe the collecting frenzy is fading a bit? Anyways, congrats on the finds.
