Idk but it almost looks like the difference between these labels is one is more transparent. Even with the solid looking logo you can still see slight color variations of the background underneath. Could it possibly be just a result if disproportionate fading? It does still bring in to question why you don't see this on other releases.

I would say this is incorrect. The list in the initial post has a count of 120 variants. There has been 8 new variants that have been brought out over the past 2ish months which I have attached a photo that I personally have on hand. The would bring the total to 128. However, the initial count of 120 includes 5 entries that I would include in the base set of 506 DuckTales ('DMG' Label) Q Billion (Black Nintendo Logo) Rescue of Princess Blobette, The (Error Serial No.) Space Invaders: The Arcade Game DMG-SP-USA-1 Wario Blast: Featuring Bomberman! Rev-1 https://imgur.com/a/6FHKkcb So my variant count is 123. That Yoshi one is interesting if we decide to count it that would make the count 124. I have the translucent one in my collection. I do see a few of the non-translucent ones listed. This does appear a potential border case in my opinion, mostly because I don't want to look for others. What is also interesting about the Yoshi one is that the cropping is different between the two. I'm not sure if this just happens typically between production runs or not. The variant count is back up to 10 million

Here's my count Bill and Ted (LJN logo no color) Ducktales (DMT mispelling should be DMG) Qbillion (black Nintendo logo) Princess Blobette (missing 1 dash in serial number) Tetris (missing both dashes in serial number) Heavyweight championship boxing(1-player logo error) Could make the argument that space invaders as well as wario blast are errors because they have the -1 revision when they are the initial release

I'm not saying its the 2 line vs 3 line It has variant of the two-player logo and single player logo (the same logo that has the 2 line vs 3 line) which is why I am asking if it should be considered an error since it was only ever a single player game. The original checklist categorizes variants as errors which is why I am asking.

I finally picked up the championship boxing 2-player logo variant. Should we count this as an error variant? It seems the logo refers to 1-player/2-player capability so if the game was always 1 player then it must have been released accidently with the 2-player logo. Thanks for sharing the tennis variant as well.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Demo-Gameboy-Gameboy-Color-Sets-Gameboy-NFR-Not-For-Resale-Gameboy-Kiosk/114600099159?hash=item1aaeb2bd57:g:TLIAAOSwUAdf6nEz Is this one of you guys? Whats your guys opinion on the value of this set. I kind of put the DMG set around 1000, at least pre covid prices and most of the ones I've been picking up lately seem to back around that range. My last 4 (dkl, tetris attack, baseball one, wario land), I've picked up for $350 total. My estimates for the others Kirbys dreamland 2 $100-150 Wario blast $75 Kirby block ball $75 Killer instinct $200-$300 Donkey kong land 2 $100-$150 The gameboy color set seems to be worth less in my opinion and this one is missing hamtaro. So, it seems the starting bid of 2500 is a little high. It is cool to see them all in one listing though.

I am noticing that there is quite a decent library of interesting games. I have yet to ever get into a fire emblem game but that might just be because of a lack of trying. It's not my go to genre but that just requires a little extra effort to get into it. Ill keep an eye out for them. Ive had a 3ds ever since it came out but I think I only ever picked up one of the pokemon games, ocarina, and smash bros. I mostly like platformers, puzzle, and adventure genre. I also noticed today that there are not many games available in the wild at least where I am. All that I found were a bit high priced, or weren't CIB. Checked all the retro game shops, gamestops and Walmart. Its interesting how there are still a lot of new copies of 3ds games available. I did pick up a handful of wii u and gameboy games so it wasn't a complete loss. I guess unless conventions start back up this is mostly going to be an ebay/online marketplace effort. I did see that stupid Barbie game is the heavy hitter for the set. Gotta love that. -
