  1. I guess I just don't see how any of that counts as a label variant. Are you talking about the little number letter indentations on the front label? Like the 22A? The four I have are the four on the list. Are we adding another? Are you counting 6 label variants?
  2. Hey would you mind sharing a picture of the new dr. Mario variant? I am still confused to what new was discovered.
  3. Looks like a knockoff to me. Is it normal for some of the Chinese games to have the square corner stickers?
  4. All the nfr cartridges supposedly have back stickers as well. Someone was saying previously that they are only interested in copies where the back sticker hasn't been peeled off. All the copies of wario blast that I've seen didn't have any back sticker or residue left from one. One of the copies I've seen was in a lot that was supposedly received directly from nintendo and it was the only one missing a back sticker. So, I was saying I still haven't seen any proof that these nfr cartridges come with back stickers.
  5. Yea $50 is pre covid prices. I was half tempted to pick it up just to have an extra. I don't see the wario blast for sale and there's no sold/completed listing so it must have been taken down. I still haven't seen proof of a wario blast with a back label either.
  6. I'm still waiting for a reasonably priced wario blast nfr. The one listed has been up forever and the guy isn't willing to budge.
  7. Are you sure that all of the nfrs have back stickers? There's two I'm thinking of, one was wario blast that I've never seen a sticker on. Even one guy that received multiple nfrs directly from a nintendo employee the sticker was missing only on this one and it was in perfect condition. I'll have to look for picture to remember what the second one was.
  8. I need kid dracula Rev 1 for retail And for nfr I need Kirbys Dreamland 2, killer instinct, and wario blast. Just waiting for decent copies. So far I've picked up decent copies for all under $100 each. Got mislabeled dkl1 for $30!!! Almost in perfect condition with the back label intact. All within the last 2 years. Should of jumped on the decent copy of kirby for $150 few months back. Wario Blast should be manageable just all the ones that have sold lately have not been great or way too high priced considering its one of the more common ones.
  9. Picked up my copies of robocop... thanks for the early Christmas present! I'm only 1 retail variant short and 3 nfr!!1!1!
  10. https://merc.li/kXmAbYkub Sunsoft daedalian Opus manual No too often one of these pops up. Too bad the cartridge is mismatched.
  11. Someone made another tab for potential variants and listed them there so I figured they didn't need to be listed on the master list tab Also, someone made the 'Stage' tab in the master list and there were quite few errors present in it. I tried along with @JVOSSto correct quite a few of them. Not sure why we need both tabs to begin with as there is a lot of redundant information there. 12. Meant to say remove the error version for rescue of princess blobette since there is a revision number associated with the corrected version. I had the correct one removed in the spreadsheet just copied the wrong one to the reply. Q Billion black logo should be removed because it's the initial release and having it on the list makes it seem like there are 3 total versions. I was under the impression that the red logo was the revision? Same with duck tales. There's only two versions of the cartridge. One needs to go from the variant list. I like keeping the error annotated as the variant when possible especially when there is no revision number associated so I say remove the corrected version. Just depends on which version you like keeping in your base set. I keep the 'DMG' version in mine similar to Bill and Ted I suppose. The error one is annotated in the master list rather than the corrected even though the corrected came after. I suppose it's really just an arbitrary convention.
  13. hey @Splaincan we get an update to the master list whenever you get a chance before some of the variants get lost in the comments? The total variant count should be 127 These should be removed from the USA tab DuckTales ('DMG' Label)Q Billion (Black Nintendo Logo)Rescue of Princess Blobette, The (Fixed Serial No.)Space Invaders: The Arcade Game DMG-SP-USA-1Wario Blast: Featuring Bomberman! Rev-1 12 New Entries: I've updated the list tabs 'USA' and 'Stage' here to make it easier to copy: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1wQwADwKV3nWlMF8IBxY0VUAp8rl2p51X5tIfWGX9FLs/edit#gid=0 If others can take a look to verify for errors or missing content, that would be helpful. Thanks
  14. Jeez man. There really is always someone with a worse obsession to be found. Hahaha thanks for sharing all these. It looks mine is a slightly different variation or at least a mismatch. None of your sets with the German single sheet have the corrected logo. Or maybe you just didn't show that one
  15. Finally picked up the bill and Ted corrected! Has anyone ever seen this version sold with the manual or box? It looks like they just stuck a German translated manual insert in the box but it still has the US country code. I'm still waiting to get it in the mail to see what it looks like in closer detail. Interesting that there is also the US manual included. Any other examples of manuals like this?
  16. Regarding the back stickers on the NFR cartridges, are there variations on them? I have a different sticker on the back of my dkl1 that I'm not sure if it's from nintendo or from the store that sold it. I think I've seen it on a few others that have sold but I can't remember. EDIT: it looks like the listed Killer Instinct has the same sticker as my dkl1 I've also never seen any sticker on any of the Kirbys Dreamland 2 or Wario Blast nfr. I remember one of Wario Blast that someone had sold that they received directly from nintendo that did not have a back sticker. What do yall have on yours? Edit: I added another example from ebay for super Mario land 2 I don't collect boxes either but I do see NFR box currently listed on eBay for Kirbys Block Ball. Any other boxes that have been confirmed?
  17. I'm just not that much of a purest I guess. I think they add an interesting component to a collection along side the official nintento set. In line with collecting the Bible games which I think are required as part of a complete gameboy set. Releases like this also have a chance of bringing new people into collecting that might not been interested otherwise which keeps the hobby going.
