  1. Curious to see how the $70 price point will go over
  2. I still have quite a few things left if anyone is interested
  3. Unfortunately the 3DS is. Shame too as there is some interesting regional exclusives
  4. This has got to be up there with some of my best yard sale finds, maybe best ever. $50 for everything. A couple things are missing manuals, Mario Bros Wii is missing the disc, and the two Final Fantasy IX's will be frankensteined to make one complete copy. Bought this Sunday at 2 pm, no idea how all of this lasted so long.... I rarely even see games at flea markets/yard sales anymore, and when I do it isn't anything like this stuff
  5. Here is my collection for it, I tried to buy everything as it was clearanced out but got lax at the end on a few titles. Just a few more games I’d like to pick up
  6. That assumes you were able to buy items of that value back then. I would bet most people's collection does not include a single 4 digit item, let alone multiple or a 5 digit item. The games I bought for a $100 ten years ago (loose NES & SNES games) are basically worth the same value now. I wish I could have bought all those complete, but it wasn't an option then. I bought the best I could with the money I had at that time. If you are able to self sustain your collection than that is really great- but that certainly isn't the case for most collectors.
  7. I was around 12 and reading an issue of Tips and Tricks magazine and came across collectors corner in the back of the magazine. The area was on rare Super Nintendo games with a huge list of harder to find titles. I still loved my Super Nintendo so I decided to start collecting for it, at yard sales, flea markets, and GameStop’s with what money I had. I joined Digital Press forums and got the advanced collecting guide for Christmas one year. I read the thing end to end many times and basically had it memorized so I knew what to pick up. By high school I had slowed down buying since I was not finding much at flea markets and I had other interest. Shortly after graduating and after I started working I met a now great friend of mine off a Craigslist ad that really kicked my collecting into full gear. I managed to finish my snes collecting 10 years after I started it, and just as prices were picking up. Since then I collected for a few other systems- NES being the biggest and Im still working on that collection. It really was fun hunting games at yard sales, flea markets, and game stores in the early 2010s before the market exploded. I’m glad I was able to do it though I wish someone told me how much room it takes! I still find things occasionally though nothing like the past. Although I love the games, I think my favorite part is going out looking for them with friends and family and checking out new spots and meeting new people
  8. I would just like to know what exactly they do for a living that they can afford to pay so much for games
  9. Notice the mark on the back barcode, any other known copies have that issue? I would have been mighty tempted at that price as well
  10. I'm really surprised at the prices of the shin mega tensei games right now, I just can't see those prices staying. I think I am almost finished with getting all the games I am interested in for the 3DS. I tried to grab them as they were clearanced out but slacked at the end. I am up to 112 games a may add around a dozen more. I suspect this system will be highly collection as will the vita
  11. Yeah, they are definitely adding in it later on. Here is the message they sent me
  12. It isn't always the people, the mail volume is so heavy the system can't handle it. Anyway, ebay decided to add best offers to a bunch of my listings without asking, prompting me to have to spend time taking them all out. If I want to take offers I will add them myself! After I get my current batch of stuff sold I believe I am done selling on ebay
  13. I'm in the home stretch of finishing my NES collection, looking for these games loose. Do not have to be dead mint. Rental stickers are fine on the plastic. Would prefer no label tears. Thanks Caltron 6-1 Flintstones 2 Menace Beach Powerblade 2 Racermate 2 Secret Scout
  14. It would really depend on what they have, but new old stock sounds interesting! If you are able to snap a picture next time you are by there I'd greatly appreciate it!!
  15. Just picked up a refurb NES Classic from the Nintendo. Here is the box: I'm sure most of these will get trashed
  16. This thread inspired me to look for a picture list someone put together and posted on NintendoAge way back. Thankfully I found the thread and here is the list: Would love to see list like this for other systems EDIT: Looks like a ton can be found here: https://vsrecommendedgames.fandom.com/wiki/V/'s_Recommended_Games_Wiki
  17. Looking for any and all Galoob/Hasbro Micro Machines from the late '80s up the early '00s. Looking for mainly cars only and not really interested in off brands. Let me know what you got! Also interested in old Tech Deck skateboards Thanks, Jordan
  18. People said the same thing about PS2/GameCube stuff so I will say the same thing will happen to PS3/360 games. Now is a good time to be buying that stuff
