I missed it too but I can't complain, I have a copy from it's original release. Good enough for me.

I loved the Smashing Pumpkins during the 90's. Recently seen em in concert and they still put on a pretty damn good show. Though much of their newer stuff just doesn't ring with me like the older tunes did.

Geez, I'd probably consider it if it came with a stand like the Virtual Boy. Then again, lugging that thing around would give you an excuse to skip arm day.

Sure, I take it there are some like myself that collect only NES stuff. An while I do have a super gameboy, for whatever reason I'd rather play it on my NES as it is always hooked up.

I'm waiting on a famicon reproduction cart of AV Pretty Girl Fighting. It's been nearly two months since they shipped. ETA was between 5/24 and 6/14. So we'll see.

I honestly don't care about slotted games nor 5 screw games. It's a silly nitpick to make the game more "rare".

I spent 85-115 a few times on various NES cartridges. I have a hard limit of 200$ that I wont go over, so there's going to be some gaps in my collection.

Any Final Fantasy, Metal Gear or Castlevania that's re-released for a modern console I tend to pick up.

I like this^ idea. Just toss a 12$ "year's subscription" and then you wouldn't have to worry about taking any loss from said service. I just think something would be better then nothing... but it doesn't seem like this idea has much support. Guess I can just pick up a shirt or something. That way I get a cool shirt and the server gets a few bucks. **Update** I just picked up a t-shirt. They are pretty cool.

I was wondering why with all the latest advancement in classic gaming no one else has tried to make their own version of the Retrovision. It was a absolutely fantastic idea, I would die at a chance to get my hands on one of those carts when they had been originally released. Unfortunately I missed out by a few years. Anyhow, I was just thinking about this the other day when I picked up a few gameboy carts for my new collection. I'd still like to play these games on my nes. I remember a few years ago someone was looking into making a flash cart but I haven't heard about it since. Anyhow, I was just musing about it and wondered if anyone else has wondered about it too. I have to assume it was very complicated. Bunnyboy sure knows his stuff.

Plus we have to remember that isn't the same Sega we remember from the 90s. They've been out of the game for so long I can't help but to think any console released would bomb at this point. Plus there are too many players on the field at the moment. Can't help.

I didn't think of that, bit of a mixed bag. Some may drop down to 1$ while others may also jump on for 1$. Hard to see, hopefully a few more folk pop in and speak their mind on the subject.

@Gloves, did I come off like I was shaming people? It wasn't intended. I just wanted to lend a hand and thought 1$ a month was something I could afford. An thought maybe others would like that option too. Survers can be costly.

I was thinking maybe a section for hacks/reproductions could be a good thing too. However, I would only include reproductions of pirated games, hacks, and translations of games not released outside of japan. Any reproductions of games released either in EU or NA should be prohibited. An while I am not necessary against reproductions of very expensive games (as for many of us that's the only way we'd get our hands on em), it's only so as long as they are clearly marked or on different colored carts. Preferably I'd like the rom to also display it.

So I was taking a look at the subscriptions and I was wondering why not add a 1$ subscription tier? While it may not be much, I think more people would be willing to dish out a dollar as opposed to nothing or even 5$ for that matter. I know I personally would, an at that tier don't bother with charms or benefits. Just knowing I am lending a hand is good enough for those at that level. Even if it's only a dollar. It does add up when enough people hop on. Anyhow, just tossing it out there as I was looking to lend a hand but 5$ a month is a bit too much with the million other things I'm subscribed too.

Well, I didn't expect it to be concrete but it did offer a solid guide as to what as out there and how much of it. It was a pretty solid guide... maybe we could make it more vague as opposed to hard numbers? Like Common, Uncommon, Rare, and Good Luck. That would suffice.
