Thanks for the comments regarding the N'Sane Trilogy.  I think I WILL avoid buying it and just try the originals on my little PSOne.

Played the original trilogy. Don't really like 1, 2 and 3 are solid PS1 games but I don't care that strongly about either.

3 went a bit overboard with the gimmick levels. I could see thinking they were really neat back in the day but at this point I don't feel there's a lot of value in exchanging platforming stages for jetski/motorbike/dogfight stages. If you wanted the latter you could just go play PS1 games in those genres, which I assume would have better execution.

I think I prefer 3 otherwise though. Time trials help too.

There's nothing wrong with the N Sane Trilogy, in my opinion. I think it plays great.

Go for it! I've been replaying them all every year since the N Sane Trilogy came out. Now with Crash 4 added to the mix.

I've replayed the first two games probably 5 or 6 times since the N'Sane Trilogy came out (playing the original releases).  I just meant, play through them AGAIN.

And I've already competed 1 since I posted that.

Finally 100%'ed Crash 2.  It took a little longer since I had to start over after my son saved over my game.  I still love this game.  It will never get old for me and I still rank it as the best Crash game.  

I will probably pickup Crash 4 pretty soon and try it out.

I was all about Crash 3 Warped, though 2 was also pretty solid

Crash 1 is a lot like Sonic 1, in that was a good game for what it was, but the sequels improved drastically over it, that it's kinda hard to go back
