Not on that album.  I have it in front of me right now.  The insert for that album was deliberately made to look like it was done on a '90s ink jet printer.

That album predates GT, so I'm gonna say no

Or maybe they were unrelated.  I always assumed that was the namesake.

I was curious, so I looked them up on allmusic. Gran Turismo was the album with "My Favourite Game" and was released in 98. First Band on the Moon had the big hit "Lovefool" and was released in 96. Learned something today.
