Yikes. I tried to make some runs for it at the last minute and barely got my current score up due to getting lost in playing!  I missed the mark on beating my personal best from 2017 (450k'ish) and 500k... ah well, next time. Nice score, @Jeevan (and everyone)

It sounds like you and I were in a similar situation with our runs. During my last and best run, I managed to not make too many fatal errors while progressing. However, I did screw up enough to knock myself down. I missed 15,000 points of barrel jumps on level 5-1 due to bad positioning (things I shouldn't have and thus far had not been missing!). I didn't get to really play level 6-1 because I mistimed a barrel jump and it was game over! We'll get 'em next time   Also @NESfiend lol at how close our scores were!

I gave it a final push and had my best round ever! Not that I've played a lot of Donkey Kong But it was a good one for me. SO CLOSE to my personal goal of 200k (197,000). I may give it another go, but for now, I'm out of time. I really enjoyed revisiting this game!  

Score updated on page 1. I cracked 100k early in the week and haven't done much since. I may have a few runs left in me, if I can find time. Lots of great scores this week!

Haha, agreed! I feel dirty thinking about all of those carts not in box protectors! If you look closely, you'll see I kept the heavy hitters in standard game sleeves when on the shelf. Still, I feel much better about the way it's set up now. 

I'm trying to decide if I should just move on to Puzznic or not. @Jeevan might be disappointed though  Did @skinnygrinny get lost out in the glades somewhere's looking for Bayou Billeh!?

It's not grandiose compared to what I had originally planned! It's okay, things happen. I still have a place to play Donkey Kong and geek out It's kind of decorated now. I'm still working on that part.  You can see my original set up here

I haven't looked (or don't recall) if we have a 'show off' thread here yet. I've been posting pics like this to Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/ninjistar). I've not posted anything yet with the current additions in progress. This is not nearly as epic as what I had originally planned for this house, but plans change. Someday I'll have a grandiose game room! I hope you enjoy the pics.

I've been working on some other gaming-related things (completing my N64 set, curating my NES set, further establishing my "new" game room). I've put in some rounds. It didn't go well last night though. I kept making stupid mistakes, so I called it quits for the night. I'll be jumping some barrels shortly!

@ninjistar for the homebrew charm, only homebrew games count towards it.  So no romhacks or reproductions, etc.  That Kart Fighter is a reproduction of an unlicensed game made during the console's life, so we have to excluded it.

Got another homebrews to add in to make it 10?  Add it in and we can give you the charm.
