Any older cartridge based system is going to need additional hardware like a flash cart, etc. This alone is a barrier to entry for most people for a variety of reasons. PSP doesn't require that because the files are all digital

I’ve sold and shipped about 4,000 packages with USPS and I’ve had 1 damaged. Last month I decided to ship with UPS (for the first—and last—time ever) on a large package because it was cheaper, and it arrived completely destroyed and I was out the whole cost plus return shipping so I could verify.

I'm not normally in the business of speculating but for any PS3 collectors noticing the weird price jumps on random things, I noticed sealed copies of Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z can be had for ~$12 on Ebay. I think this one could see some jumps because: It's the obscure black sheep of a well-known & beloved series Unlikely to see a re-release as it sold poorly & had mixed reviews (so lower number of copies) Very stylish & unique cel-shaded graphics Sigma trilogy re-release incoming on Switch will boost the profile of the series It was released on PS3/360 about a year after the PS4 was already out

PS2 is crazy as well. I only have a handful and all of them have gone up at least 3x, some much more (Silent Hill 2 and 3 are insane). Some PS3 games have shot through the roof too, after being really cheap for years (Puppeteer for example, which isn't even that good, was <$10 basically since it came out in 2013, and now is just under $100).

I feel like any thrift store is going to have plenty of cases you can choose from when it comes to CDs. Finding a mint one might be slightly harder, but not like finding a good Saturn case or something

I think it would have happened by now, because even the remake prices have gone dramatically down. Spyro was one of my favorites games growing up, and the remake practically made it obsolete. There's no real reason to play the original anymore other than nostalgia, and it was never a rare game.

Not a member of VGS that I know of. This was on Ebay; I remember adding people from the old thread to my banned list on Ebay when they had done things like claiming a package was damaged and then returning a busted-up copy that wasn't the one you had sold, etc.

On NA, we had a banned buyers list for troublemaking Ebay, etc. buyers that tried scamming people, etc. Do we still have that? I would like to make a submission to the list.

Managed to grab this on clearance but am not particularly interested in it. Wanting to trade for other Switch games. Recapping shouldn't really be done unless you have a problem except in exceptional cases (like w/ the Xbox), because there are risks in doing it as well. Game Gears almost always need them done, but because they don't work otherwise.

I don't mean any offense by this at all, but I don't quite get the appeal of doing something like this with a current console. The majority of these games will be in thrift stores and yard sales in just a few years, so do you just do this because you're worried some of them will be unattainable later or something?

So was the goal of the purchase of NA just to harvest the data or whatever? It doesn't really seem like the company that bought it actually wants a forum anyway.
